That’s £15k more than it’s asking for the Ferrari Scuderia in the same showroom.
  2. After team-mate Jaime Alguersuari had remained in the garage under safety grounds for the final six minutes of practice, following a stoppage for the accident, the Faenza-based team announced that a right-front upright breakage was the culprit; the part in question was new for this weekend's race although the specific cause of the incident remains unknown. As debris was strewn across the race track, one wheel caused particular concern as it made its way past an FOM cameraman and over the catch fencing, fortunately not injuring any corner workers or spectators. Although each wheel is supported by ultra-strong and much-tested tethers, designed to hold them in place in the event of accidents, Toro Rosso has explained that both front wheels were able to become airborne because the tethers were connected to the suspension parts which failed.
  3. his leaving the PPA was not under controversial circumstances. At least not on his part...
  4. my current route has me going from Wynberg, along main road then on to Palmyra. All the way through to Rondebosch, then through Pinelands and Ndabeni, past Kehl's and then on to 5th Avenue to the train tracks, which I follow until Century City train station.
  5. hell yeah! LOVED it. End scene - shall we begin? Goosebumps.
  6. make sure to stock up on your Stans at the same time, splat. You're going to need it...
  7. It'd be the OEM version that we all throw in the bin and then get the Evolution model.
  8. Performance, Tubeless Easy. The pic is juuuust clear enough to make it out when enlarged.
  9. Yep. I've found Airton & Builders to be mostly comparable. Cheaper than each other on some items.
  10. Treated pine. And yes... its the stuff that is used for trusses.
  11. What about roofing lumber? Cheap, plentiful, strong.
  12. Just popped my 3rd light on the rear of my roadie. 3 separate lights at different levels on my frame, now. 2 "magicshine" equivalents out front.
  13. jeepers dude... can you wait a second? LOL Yes. Just give Mark & Deon time to recover from this... It'll include material, labour, DH0, Donkey Trail, labour and more labour. And other stuff (trails) as well
  14. She does, but what does that have to do with the result? It was a random draw...
  15. yo guys... looking for an alternative route home from Century City. Eyeing out the cycling lane alongside the BRT lanes - anything I should be aware of? Any preferred routes? Going to Wynberg. Will most likely go through Salt River then on to Black River Parkway and on to the bike lanes there. Any tips?
  16. Congratulations, Michele! Whoever you are, well done. And thanks for supporting this campaign! For all the rest of you guys and gals, thanks. Really - thank you! You've made our job a whole lot easier, and your experience a whole lot more enjoyable. To the trails!
  17. Nomad is a good pedaller, by the reviews so far. And if I can ride my behemoth up the hills, you can definitely ride the Nomad. It also comes down to how you spec it. Which tyres you have, whether you care about rolling resistance on the rear etc. Even an Epic can climb like a donkey if you build it burly and put DH tyres on. It's not all about the weight. It helps, but there's also suspension design to consider. And the VPP is one of the better pedallers. As for 275/29/26 - it's ALL about the geometry. You get 26ers that are utter shaite, just like you get niners that are like a chihuahua on meth (ito the poppiness and ease of direction changes)
  18. I have to agree. Even a 0.1 deg variation can be the difference between a good cut and something that wouldn't look out of place at a Mr Price shop soiled clearance house.
  19. Watched Despicable Me 3 on Tuesday. Bloody awesome. Watched the mummy last night. I echo Readsalot. Mehness. Also felt like a setup for a sequel.
  20. Agreed. Felt like a stepping stone. A movie put together for the sole purpose of segwaying into the 3rd instalment. Either way. Fark me. I would not want to mess with Keanu Reaves.
  21. Lol. Minions aren't hans dampfs. And he leans FAR more than us. But ja.
  22. hahahahaha TBH I haven't found my sweet spot yet. Reign's bar is 780. This is 785. But main reason I got it is the rise. Plus - green.
