    Agreed, it does. Major trunk road (that the taxis use as a freeway) vs the coastal route which people are used to cyclists using all the time.

    I find the easiest to be Kirstenbosch Gardens. Ask for a Mountain Biking Permit (it's a level 3 activity card) If you go with 3 mates, the price goes from R 500 each to R 286 each. Need proof of address, copy of ID & 2 passport photos.

    that climb back up to the top and then a drop down into G spot would be awesome... That climb to the top is hell!

    Nope, not me. I'll definitely budget on a ticket, and go with a couple mates. Even if I go alone, I'll still go. Get a ticket and then go in via G spot if I can.

    It was, and yeah. But they would still have to apply for it to be held there, and that's an exercise in and of itself. I know that Jan was looking into it for the future though.

    Technically not a purchase, as no funds changed hands. More an acquisition. That will help me on the way to fit. Needs a clean and a wheel rebuild, but apart from that I'm really really chuffed with this.
