  1. Oh - anyone got any input on the new li-ion Ryobi hand tools? Particularly jigsaw, impact driver and mini circular. Seems pretty good from what limited investigation I've done, and reasonably priced to boot. I've got the Bosch GSB1080 cordless drill/driver, but find myself wanting something with a bit more oomph for those stubborn screws & bolts.
  2. That's FLIPPIN good. Where from, if I may ask?
  3. I'd say it's the best adaptation to date. That oke from Orange County does well as an early Commissioner Gordon.
  4. DROOOOOOOL!!! EDIT: Bugger you! You got the new articulating arm one! YOU BASTARD! I need to make a trolley for mine, the lowly Metabo KGS216M http://www.toolstop.co.uk/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/7871b3a99e54bc606db3517c29cd06d9.jpg
  5. I switched it off midway through the first episode, it was that kaaaak. Felt like an attempt to leverage off the humour style of Shield, but make it "funnier" and it backfired completely
  6. yeah, she is hot! One of the best things about The Good Wife...
  7. In heavy months, we get through about 200GB, but that's also cos my wife is uploadign large files to her website. I've just had a look at our latest consumption figures, and we're through 125GB as of today. That's with streaming several series, sometimes 2 at once. Wife is a nutter for Criminal Minds, I find it repetitive as hell, so I stream what I prefer...
  8. As soon as he said that, I adopted it as my personal mantra.
  9. That doesn't answer the question... What length is the seatpost, and how much is exposed? Even if it's "within the limit" shown on the post, it may not necessarily be good for the frame. You still need sufficient material for the frame to hold on to, both sides of the weld. If there's less material below the weld than in the seat tube above, you're going to have problems - especially with a setback post. It's a recipe for disaster.
  10. Also may be time to consider a carbon frame, which would have a stronger seat tube junction. But then you still need one that doesn't necessitate a 400mm seatpost at full extension.
  11. Another q - did you just laminate them, or did you reinforce the lamination with dowels or biscuits? I can see why you did it the way you did (far easier to create a pseudo-lap joint by gluing 2 shorter pieces to the longer piece and have a gap in the middle) but I wouldn't trust "just" glue to hold up over time, with that table top and the abuse I know tables receive. But then I'm a fan of over-engineering stuff, so I could be wrong.
  12. Roux, man, you definitely need a bigger frame. How long is that seatpost and how much of it is exposed? Looks like it's right on the limit, even for a 400mm jobbie, and that will wreak havoc with that top joint with enough leverage (which you have, given that it's long and it's got a setback) May be time to consider a custom frame.
  13. Lol. #notdh you mean. Enduro is ride up and down... But I know what you mean. Yesterday's easy ride got me 148 avg. 2 short of 3000 points.
