  1. Might be a bit of a chore getting it here, unless you're relocating to NZ / Aus....
  2. That's easy, It goes into the same place socks go when being washed.
  3. that was NOT a snap. Dog was surprised awake by something falling on its pillow, and reacted by growling, though quickly stopped when it saw what was up.
  4. take it in to get serviced and inspected. May have a 140mm air spring in it, even!
  5. Also adjusts the toe of the front wheels to aid in heat generation / moderation of the front tyres. That's teh primary function of the push / pull feature, from what I've seen.
  6. https://youtu.be/U_uKHNJLSQs These explain it quite nicely.
  7. Damn, I like that movie a lot. And yeah, agreed.
  8. The lead actor (whatever his name is) is bloody excellent. Perfect for the role.
  9. Filthy Westerner, thinking he can improve on OUR design! And then no mention of it whatsoever when it's implemented for the same reasons you did it in the first place.
  10. or just mail tomoutside as he's an engineer there.... and a hubber.
  11. Not at all what the OP is looking for
  12. Honestly, if I were buying a new bike now I'd be hard pressed to look further than the Slade. Great pricing, solid geo and local design for the win. Given that it's a darn sight cheaper than replacing my current steed would be, and it's a bit of a looker to boot, it's among my top contenders should I ever be in the market.
  13. yeah, something that can take a hit, rather than wince and collapse when there's a root in the way...
  14. yeeeeah, he's got them right where he needs them.
  15. I reckon if they'd redone the brakes and given the bike a new coil, the straight up low down torque of that XR would have been excellent for the trail. But drums need to be set up properly to be effective. And that kid wasn't small!
  16. Your biggest limitation there will be budget. Hardly anything good in those ranges, unfortunately. Personally, Eliminator Grid for the front, all day long. It's grippy, reasonably fast-rolling and long lasting. BUT it'll be around R 800 or so, which is outside your budget. Won't be at all "too miuch tyre" for a 60k ride.
  17. no, back protection is not compulsory. Only compulsory item is a helmet, and that's a half-shell. The rest is "recommended"
  18. And days after the best looking and lightest e-bike launch, they're not really looking that svelte
  19. Off with his head!!! It's almost as if taking part is reward enough. LOL.
  20. flippin good effort, man. Well done! No feckin way I'd be able to do that.
  21. HAHAHAHAHA @velouria this is SO true! If you've never experienced a Meurant Botha race briefing, you are missing out. It's worth entering a Dirtopia event just for the race briefing.
