  1. My commute home from Fleet St used to take me past those 2 places... Never was there a time that they were like that, even in the dead of the night.
  2. now you're being obtuse. Stay home means stay within the boundaries of your property. Simple, ne?
  3. I have my roadie on the IDT, already set up. Thanks, though!
  4. Run the 2.2's until they need to be replaced. Then replace with something with a higher volume.
  5. That's me for the next 3 weeks. One bedroom apt with no balcony. ????
  6. The Ripmo AF would be an excellent choice, in my opinion. If you've not watched the reviews, they may sway you a bit more towards buying it.
  7. Magazines? YOu have a phone and an internet connection, don't you?
  8. 30mm is great. Do it. Marked upgrade from 22mm, 25mm is less so.
  9. Yes. At a time where the medical system may not be able to accommodate you.
  10. That's what I did... in the hospital facilities.
  11. It needs to be handed in very soon after the ejaculation in order to give proper data. Process is: Go to Path lab and ask for a fertility test baggie (comes with a bottle, sealable bag and so on) unless your doc gave you one. Knock one out Go to path lab and hand it in within 30min, but the sooner the better. They'll expedite the handling of it and ensure the sample gets where it needs to go ASAP.
  12. 50 "events" or so. Some may need more, some less. Depends how many swimmers are in your storage facility, and how "sticky" they are. I was told by my doc that it was an average of 50.
  13. Rather ironically, it's that trading that self-perpetuates the decline in price.
  14. Jeepers, I think I'd have a crisis of choice at that level. So many good options available at the moment. If I could offer one suggestion, it'd be to test before you buy. Even though some bikes may have more or less the same measurements and suspension travel, they may be vastly different in terms of how they behave on the trail. Silverback Slider LT Reign 29 / Trance 29 Tranny Patrol / Sentinel Banshee Spitfire / Phantom Ibis Ripmo AF Scott Genius Spaz Enduro (should be able to pick one of the last gen up at a great price) Commencal Meta Trail / AM and on and on and on. Firstly, decide what sort of rider you are. Do you prefer searching for features, look for air everywhere and float over rock gardens, or do you just engage hulk smash and steamroll through the gnar, wanting to go in as straight a line as possible? Once you've done that, read / watch the reviews of the bikes in your price bracket and desired travel range, and eliminate the ones that don't act the way you want the bike to act (poppy v ploughy) while shortlisting the rest. See if any of those are available locally and for a test, and see which one tickles your fancy. I know this phrase has been thrown around a lot, but today there really is no such thing as a bad bike. But there is such a thing as a bike that works for you. Good luck!
  15. Their trails are still open, though, afaik. Just the facilities there that are closed.
  16. But they're quite happy to build trails that can see speeds in excess of 40kph in areas, and result in actual broken bones and such? Remember - tech doesn't equal fast, it equals technically challenging. Rocks. Roots. Off camber. Loose shale etc etc.
  17. Anywhere, really. There's loooads of potential slope on all the farms in the network. Just grade tehm properly, mark them as "inspect first" like all trails should be marked, and go for it. BTW - most of the guys "hating" TBMTBC actually don't. The trails are fun, there are loads of them, and they've done exceptionally well in expanding the MTB trail network as well as sponsoring the race series that they have given support to. It's just that... well... we'd like a teensy bit more choice in trail technicality, please. Given that they're big on marketing their support for grassroots and development of MTB, I think it's also within their interest to back that up with trails that suit that development, and skills progression.
  18. Nothing at all. Also closed it to non-members, despite the previous commitment to allow non members to come through.
  19. No, because it's still within the fund, which has it's own unit price based on the collection of stocks it has inside it. You're buying the unit, and the difference in the price of the units is what you pay CGT on, if you withdraw from that fund. If you'd personally switched from an equity fund (or any fund) to another fund, then there's a CGT event, as you've triggered a sale or switch between 2 different funds. Important note: This was a fund (unit trust) that has a flexible mandate, IE they can invest any % of their funds in any sector, and aren't tied by a fixed mandate, like, say, an Equity Fund or a Bond fund. With unit trusts, the manager can decide to disinvest from one co and invest in another, and it doesn't affect you because it's all happening within the unit trust itself, and won't affect the underlying unit price.
  20. Yeah, and there's nothing we can do about it at the moment. Selling now would be suicide! Only way out is with clever decisions, there are a couple of funds which are positioned well for this (those funds that have flexible mandates and can switch their entire holding to cash) and that's what we're looking for at the moment. And then of course the trading of shares as well. I don't do that, though...
