  1. Switch can dock to a TV, and is more of a personal and family playing device, vs the LITE which is more of a personal playing device. Normal SWITCH over teh LITE any day of the week.
  2. No duties on bike parts. Just VAT and ATV, which causes VAT to be charged at an effective rate of 16.5%
  3. Holy cow, Flippie. How the hell did they get that one right
  4. ???????????????????? From knowing people who work there,as well as others who have worked there in the past, that's an exceptional description of it all. And management just doesn't care. Engineers on the ground are using loudhailers to get the attention of the people who have the authority to make calls, who in turn are YOLOing with their noise cancelling headphones thinking "if I don't log a problem, I won't get into trouble. So nothing's wrong. Easy." Press skip, I don't like this song.
  5. Jeepers that paints a bleak picture. Excellent read, thanks
  6. I'd say it's precisely BECAUSE H1N1 infected 1.4bn people that these measures are being taken, plus H1N1 had a death rate of LESS THAN 1/100th that of COVID-19. That is why it's important that these measures are taken. H1N1 death rate : 0.02% COVID-19 death rate: 2% at the moment, conservatively.
  7. Completely agree here. Even at 100kg I've been near the upper limit for shock pressures on some bikes. At 170 the required presure would be far over the max upper limit. Hardtail, but one with a strong fork and good wheels. Something like a Silverback Slade Trail, On One 45650 and so on. DO NOT get a racing XCO / XCM hardtail. You will be over the weight limit. Stronger & burlier is your best option.
  8. https://www.takealot.com/magicshine-mj906-combo/PLID54551596 Honestly, after having multiple ryder / extremelights / marvel stuff, and aftger seeing this baby in action, my money would go here if I were going to buy new lights. Excellent spread, decent spot as well and a rear light that will be visible from miles away. It's become the standard recommendation for my riding group. The Marvel lights are nowhere near their max lumen rating, as they're all rated according to the maximum current that the LED's can handle, not what they're actually driven at. I have the Blaast 2200 and the other 1300 and they're not as bright as my Extremelights Solo, which is rated at I think 900 lumen.
  9. No, it's just infantile. To echo Philip, it never was funny.
  10. Ag feck, nevermore. Not this crud again. Just leave your bloody hatchet at home, okay?
  11. A multi day Ceres / Karoo / whatever bike packing trip would be first prize. ????
  12. I reckon quite a few of them are here already. Just seen some foreign Scott sponsored teams at bootleggers enjoying their espresso. Could see they were Scott sponsored cos they were all wearing their neon yellow Scott running shoes
  13. Friends of mine are in the high value short term residential property rental game (on the management side) They're running off their feet, they're so busy. 2019 was a challenging year, but they're already up on the whole of 2019 in terms of bookings. Corona could impact that hugely though.
  14. Dude. I stopped watching midway through S1 cos it was just too flippin creepy. But now I'm midway through S2 and crap it gets worse. ????
  15. Yes, will fit straight on. Strange that the sunrace didn't fit properly as they're excellent bits of kit and should have gine through substantial testing before approval. Sure there's not something you're missing?
