  1. HAHA!!! Yeah, India / Indigo. India would be easier, I suppose.
  2. Yeah, as I said before - that's the best course of action. The guys in the Table Mountain MTB Forum have been campaigning for this trail for ages now. But we are getting closer to having a trail around the peninsula. Which would be awesome.
  3. Bravo - Black Charlie - Coloured Indigo - Indian Whiskey - White
  4. Andre Traut is the guy... also a Hubber, or used to be.
  5. As Deon (Pain or Shine) said yesterday - Tik is an IMMENSE problem, and the crime moves all over the place - we're "easy pickings" - especially when we've got these big ass million lumen lights on our bars, and can't really fight back whilst riding (not that you'd want to fight back against a gun-toting tik-infused maniac - FLIP it, it's like gumi-berry juice to them) Until the pro-active policing picks up, it's going to remain a problem. At the moment, the policing is pretty re-active. But yeah - perhaps we just complain about it more, 'cos we're not used to the levels of crime that everyone else has in JHB, Durbs and so on. But it's still not cool...
  6. Yeah, look - if you can secure permission, then great - I'll be along to help swing a ho any time. But if you can't get permission, be it from landowners, parks or whatever - know that whatever you do (ride, build etc) has the potential of getting you into some beeg trouble.
  7. Well, there go my early morning training aspirations...
  8. That's all pretty much Parks land, and there are existing talks to get a circular route across the whole range. Please don't attempt to alter the hiking path in ANY way, as it may affect the relationship and potential of securing the approval for said circuit trail. If you're caught riding the hiking trail, you WILL be fined. Best course of action is to back the existing structures in place (table mountain mountain biking forum, composing PPA, AMARider, Table Mountain Bikers and Tokai MTB) who all already have an existing relationship with parks, and the numbers to back up any proposal. Just bear in mind that it won't be a quick process. You're looking at years, not months.
  9. I just go. As long as I'm bringing in the money, thats all that matters. Plus I work at home int he evenings if necessary...
  10. Normal one is fine, my wife uses hers to alleviate pressure all the time. I can only imagine that the knobbly one would give you more targeted relief, but then it would also prevent the broad based relief that you want from a foam roller in the first place.
  11. yeah, I can imagine that. No gap, no technicality other than you needing to go very very fast to clear it. It's wide, it's safe. No reason to rate it higher. If there was a gap there, though... But then the gap would be so large it'd almost be like an oversized whoop section.
  12. LOL. Where, exactly, on DH3!? LOL!!! Dude. Can you imagine the uproar from Parks if something that size was all of a sudden on the slope? DH3... Needs more rock & jump and corners on the lower part. It's just a straight on maul down the hill... Which is fun, don't get me wrong - but it could be SOOOOO much better. I want Bennet there, with his magician's eyes...
  13. EEEEEEK!!! Dude. If that were in Tokai, it'd take up the whole of DH2.
  14. I think it's a consumer-driven thing, TBH. Increasingly, people wanting to see "how things finished" and leaving all the imagination out of it. If it had finished any other way, or without the last 3 minutes - it also would have opened it up for sequels, spin-off publications and so on. But no. We want "closure" and to be spoon fed. Having said that - it was still a fantastic movie.
  15. Yeah. It's how Groundhog Day should always have been.
  16. Everything is cool when you're part of a team!!! Followed by... DARKNESS, ANGER, DARK GREY, BLAAAACK! HOMELESS...
  17. Yeah - and the storyline is pretty cool as well, even though you only actually get to see it right at the end. Watching it for the 2nd time, you catch all the cues, and it makes that much more sense...
  18. Another VERY good movie I saw recently - Edge of Tomorrow. Brilliant performances from both Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt. Set the bar for Sci-Fi movies this year, IMO
  19. Now that is awesome. Give that inventor a Bells.
  20. Exactly. Also part of why I said I was scuppered by my own experiment Lol. What a dumbass
  21. Yeah, I know. which is why I said I was scuppered by my own experiment. In the experiment it DOES shorten the wheelbase, but it won't go through to real world unless you lean like Marques.
