  1. You forgot MOTOGP. Been there. Done that. Was EPIC. RIght on the start finish at the Brit GP. Pissed with rain, was sick for the next week, but it was well worth it.
  2. Erm, that's what they're doing... Instead of reading the market backlash, read the article itself (as well as my post) - Depends. On. Market. Feedback. So they may not discontinue 29ers at all. They may keep them in the XC segment (where 9ers are the highest sellers, incidentally) and they are keeping the Trance niner for 2014. This whole thing has been blown out of proportion by those little keyboard warrior okes who comment on these articles without ever reading beyond the headline.
  3. Ah, but someone did. Especially if you've got a bond that needs servicing at the same time... Said person went to watch the TDF recently, btw.
  4. NICE! Well done dude. It was a very close run between the 2, but TBH I think you got the right fork in the end. Easier to set up and better for the application. Even though I (in the end) would have gone for the Dual, the Solo RLT is the bee's knees.
  5. Key words... Depends. On. Market. Feedback. If 275 out-sells niner at a significant level, niner goes. If niner continues to sell in the Anthem, niner stays. if niner continues to sell in XTC, niner stays. If it sells in one of those, niner stays in that segment.
  6. Or in the case of Duran, their Schnorrrrrrrs
  7. Hmmmm... I may have to think long and hard about this one...

  9. Any incitement to physical damage to the truck would intensify the situation and lead to more death, not less
  10. Spaghettimonster. That thing in the bottom of the pot when you forget to stir your pasta while cooking.
  11. It's the INTENSeITY that gets him...
  12. PFFT. About as graceful as a rampaging hippopotamus, yeah.
  13. I cannot help it. It's a condition, OKAY!? Just LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
  14. NEIN! Oh, and I also "bunnyhop" better with clips. Now that I know the right technique, I'll be able to lift up the rear higher. But if I practice more on the flats, I'll get there without having to pull up... Meh. Oh - and I wear bibs under my shorts...
  15. Same here. I bought my DH bike off of Pittstop here. Was a good deal for both of us, and I would do it again. I've bought brakes, wheels, bars etc. Not one problem. So I won't rule out future purchases at all. But - I'm seriously wary of full carbon-framed bikes nowadays. Especially ones that are branded as something they may not be,
  16. yes it is. Those are their own brands, and people know that they are a Momsen, or Edge etc. Bringing in a chinese blank frame and branding it as Pinarello, Scott, Giant etc is not only stupid, it's illegal. It's a fake as soon as you slap those stickers on. And for the person selling it as a Pinarello, they're guilty of fraud. Plain and simple. It's like if I were to sell a Porsche Spyder as an original when it's actually a kit based ont eh Karmann Ghia, with a 1.5l volksie motor in it. Fraud. Plain and simple.
  17. Exactly. This is a case in point of what happens with "branded" non - brand frames. And in terms of insurance, good luck if it breaks and it's insured for the full ticket price of the original.
  18. Seems to be. Damn, I'd lose it with the original seller.
  19. Congrats guys! May the stories be plentiful and the experiences memorable.
  20. I'm also going to say that in order to have a proper grounding in MTB, one should start on flats. Yes, flame suit on, but face it. Proper technique comes from proper practice.
  21. Nah. Maybe. The forceful one was banned earlier today, before that thread started, I think. And he came back as someone else...
