  1. Yeah, just in xc. But in the last para they say that they have plans to phase them out over time.
  2. Dang. And on that article I posted. Plans to phase out 29ers. Very bold.

  4. Beautiful dog... How anyone could dump her I do not know. But then, that's how I got my little monster - he was dumped in CT central in a pile of rubbish. Marsie is lekker, and harks to her discovery...
  5. Ja going well man. Finally off that damn flu I had for 3 months, and work is going well. How's the change gone your side?
  6. Not much. Same same, just a slightly different tang. TNT1 is no longer amongst us (at least not posting) as are a couple of other long-termers. There's a fight every day, hi-jacking left right and centre and a platform that may actually be slowly recovering from the "bad" times after the Big Crash left the forum searching for a soul again. Otherwise, all the same! Oh - and the Lady was helped by Hubbers, so that ended nicely.
  7. I would most definitely obey... Ma'am yes Ma'am!
  8. And contrary to what you think, it isn't always the person you target that hits that little "report" button.
  9. No attack. You even name yourself "Drol", so it is logical to assume that such is your name.
  10. I think they killed themselves dead with that CTD shaite, whereas RS managed to appease the masses with Solo Air and the ease with which they are able to be set.
  11. Funny how everyone knows Bergdrol as Drol, yet only Drol knows Fabes as eggsucker. Hmmm. Stalker much?

About 15kg Total cost to build - about 16,500. Including all parts at full cost of upgrade. If I remove the amount saved from selling the upgraded kit or kit i brought across from my itger bike it comes to approx 4k. Will weigh tonight for an accurate number. Edit:I sold my road bike to fund my DH bike and sold that to partly fund this. My wheels cane from my hardtail and I sold my precious fork to upgrade to the lyrik. Hardtail is in bits but still a whole bike. The road bike was a gift.
  13. Incorrect. The 50/50's are flats, no clips anywhere near them. You're thinking of the Crank Brothers Mallets, which have an egg-beater clip in section inside a flat pedal style platform.
  14. There is a thread about it already - happened saturday morning near the bottom of the Switchbacks (bridal path)
  15. Because no bike shop should sell a bike with wheels like that to a dude who weighs 110kg. It's simply common sense. The fact that Momsen specs those wheels on their most entry level of entry level bikes has nothing to do with it. The guy went to a bike shop (not sure you can call Solomons that, but anyway) and looked for advice. If the salesman had had even one iota of common sense, he would have said that the wheels would not be strong enough and asked what type of riding he does etc etc and advised accordingly. It's apparent that they didn't. Hence - Solomons stuffed up during their sales process. Momsen did stuff up on their communications strategy with this client, but it's not their fault he was sold the wrong bike. It's simply common sense - you should try it every so often.
  16. Old world. Wish it were still like that, where honor was a large part of who you were as a person.
  17. And if you're only relying on a single mode of communication that, by your own assertions, isn't working, try a more direct one.
