  1. DT hubs are generally bulletproof. Crossmarks, too, but only good for gravel grinding.
  2. Honestly don't know, and didn't know there was a BH group. LOL.
  3. No, quite different, actually. No crime solving, really. Just trying to stop the end of the world, essentially.
  4. If I had one of those micro-tanks - the ones you bite on to and have a canister dropping down from the mouthpiece, yeah. But no chance do I have the lung capacity / stamina for that dive without one.
  5. wellll.... You're watching a series about kids with superpowers, in a modern world where they don't have cell phones. I think an evolved / experimented upon chimpanzee would be the least of your concerns...

  7. Yeah, I have, with the rest of my riding buddies. Didn't pick Cecile Ravanel, thank goodness!
  8. keep at it - it really starts getting interesting at around the ep5 stage.
  9. if there's a link between Strava and CM, then you can automate that process with relative ease. No need to use it for anything else
  10. I have those exact bars in 50mm rise, with the matching stem. Bloody fantastic things, they are!
  11. Sigh. Please don't feed it. Sorry Odie, in this case your emotions and dogma is clouding your ability to take on new data.
  12. They don't need weapons in order for you to be fearful for your life...
  13. I know weigh-in is tomorrow, but after a bit of experimentation (different foods etc, went a week without meat and made a 3-bean stew w/carrots, lentils & split peas) I was up to mid to high 98's for a while. Changed back to what I normally eat (meat & veg) and I'm back down to 97.
  14. Is that the 140? Yeah, the new Merida 120 / 140 / 160 are really good looking (and well reviewed) bikes, and they're coming in at a very decent price point.
  15. And squirrel! Bloody rodent scum, those things. Especially in the UK, where the grey squirrel has all but wiped out the red.
  16. IMO because it's not "an animal" , even though it is. It's an aquatic creature. Pescatarians find it easier to say they're veggie, but eat fish. If they said they're pescatarian the majority of ppl would say huh wot?! And then cook them some lamb.
  17. Then use more solid comparisons next time And yes, maybe. But maybe not as palatable / thirst quenching / readily available, depending on what they are. Powders will always be more accessible than milk by virtue of the fact that all they need is water, and you can carry them with you. Having said that, we can debate nutritional content all day long, and come up with alternatives that "beat" the other's postulation. Fact is that milk / super M IS cheap, readily available, thirst-quenching and hassle-free. As a recovery drink goes, it's not bad at all.
  18. Odie, normally your comparisons here are pretty good, but this one falls short - you're showing 2% low fat milk at a calorie content of less than half that of the kidney beans, whereas we're talking about full fat milk. The numbers there would be more representative of what Milkman is saying / asking, and would present a more "honest" comparison of the 2. Also - I don't know of anyone who would willingly chug a tin of kidney beans after a race / ride. Milk is just super thirst quenching as well. The beans.... not so much
  19. Yeah, for xcm I don't see a problem with them, I just wouldn't. For xco, if you've got the ability then Lekker. I just personally would run something a bit more substantial to make up for my lack of skill and abundance of dad-bod
  20. Personally, I'd not trust those tyres one little bit. Yeah they're fast, but they've got nowhere near the amount of grip or sidewall protection that I require.
  21. nice one, Cole! Hope this sled works better than some of your previous ones, and you have fkn fun on it!
  22. depends how much control you want. I've found that there is far more control with both present. Managed to get a solid 120deg for ~5 hours on the snake, with the bottom and top vents eeeever so slightly open.
