  1. GPS devices or phones will never be 100% accurate. Or at the least the cycling ones we use.
  2. Try Nsquared. https://nsquared.co.za/
  3. I had the same issue with them a while back when buying a jersey. The R450 SALE price ended up being R650 at the shop. It seems the shop check on the system first to see what they "paid" for the item originally and then work out their own discount. The SALE price on the website only a guideline by HQ but what you find at the shops are differently priced.
  4. I’m happy with mine, got the 2.2 H. On sale at Takealot at the moment.
  5. Hi all. I need to replace a 28H 27.5 WTB i45 Scraper rim. The rim has developed some cracks at the spoke holes over the years. Did some online searching but no luck yet. Anybody know of stock somewhere in SA? Does not have to be the same WTB rim, other brands or even a 40mm rim will be fine. Thanks.
  6. Same here ????????
  7. 29x2.2 Looks bigger due to the camera angle?
  8. In my case the difference in total height between the two wheels sets is about 15-18mm. And I do notice that 8-9mm drop in BB height.
  9. I have the Specialized Fuse and that BB is fairly low. Pedal strikes do happen from time to time. Slightly higher (better) when the 29er wheels are used. Making it feel like completely different bike. Nice option actually.
  10. I bought from R2 Bike (Germany) last year when I could not find any stock locally. Didn’t take to long to arrive and the price was around R950 per tire after tax (Nobby Nic and Rocket Ron).
  11. No. A 26” rear wheel won Red Bull Rampage yesterday. ????

  16. Great tires. Fast rolling and better grip than you think.
  17. I have 2.35’s on 21mm rims. Would like a bit wider. If it was me, choosing between 25 and 30mm I would probably go 25mm. Anything wider than 2.35 I would take 30mm rims.
  18. Ja, They want another Grim Donut. Anything less is old school!
  19. Also look at these https://cyclingstore.co.za/products/momum-tav-valves-aluminium-44mm-round-base
  20. First time visiting the G-spot...
  21. Isn’t he joining Mathieu van der Poel on the Canyon team?
  22. I had the DHF on the front and DHR on the back. EXO casing I think. Grip was great and durabillity was fine. But wasn’t impressed with the DHR rolling resistance.
  23. Ja, I also only know these two taps. Would like to know where the others might be.
  24. If you do try the 2.8’s let us know how it works out and how it compares with the 3.0’s.
