  1. Sad state of affairs. Hope you heal up quickly & completely. Consider setting up a Go Fund Me, all proceeds go to the Private Investigator or retired Detective that identifies the individual involved, then forward all information to the SAPS, his family, his employer etc I'll initiate with a contribution of R1K. Pls attach the link to GFM.
  2. Thanks!
  3. Quick question: Has everyone received their seeding email? Been through my mail and cant find anything, also don't know where to look online?

  15. Wonder if they service Lefty's?
  16. Please support Amped Portable Power team by buying a unit Just did joBerg2c and they were amazing with us. Early mornings and late nights they would be there supporting mountain bikers. Really great people. And their unit is the business!
  17. Supersport. Really??????? You guys just don't give a **** about cycling coverage do you..? One of these days the internet will make you obsolete and you deserve what's coming.. Unbelievable
  18. Also interested, any idea on approx cost?
  19. Nav using my Garmin 510 worked perfectly. No issues. A guy from Garmin kindly uploaded the files onto my divine at registration and all I did every morning was select the course for the day and push start. Couldn't be simpler, But if you're a middle pack rider you don't even need a GPS, just follow the rider, or rider's dust, in front of you. For any one thinking of doing JoBerg2c I can't recommended this ride enough. It will exceed your expectations and leave you with the most incredible memories. The people you meet are great, the vista's of this amazing county spectacular, the single track sublime.. If I can I will do it again next year. No question.
  20. First day was much tougher than I expected! Especially the sandy bits in the last 20km. Water points were amazing. Frankfort race village and the vibe created by the locals was awesome. Today was easier. The first hour at 0 degrees Celsius was fun. Reitz is okay but doesn't have the same feel as yesterday. Nice meeting you udxcob
  21. Registration day! Yipppeeee...
  22. Strange, bad luck Been using Stans for years and never seen anything like it. Fresh Stans + Maxxis Crossmark/Ardent = never, ever get a flat! I've even stopped carrying a spare tube around.
  23. Can't wait now! Going up to Jo'burg next Wednesday, registration Thursday, then 9 days of pure adventure.. Only worry is the weather. See that it's raining along the route tomorrow as this cold front passes. Don't mind hot, cold, windy but don't fancy riding and in living in the rain. Let's hope for a dry'ish race. Anyone else from CT going?
