  1. Tombstone teeth and an alcohol level that'll blow a breathalyser to bits. But a fine rendition.
  2. I think it's because they're the short version.
  3. You've seen The Departed I presume. I'm Shipping up to Boston. Quite evocative.
  4. Oh yes, she is a charlatan of the highest order.
  5. The infamous fake doctor Gillian McKeith whose qualification was also obtained by Ben Goldacre for his dead cat.
  6. From a friend of a friend of a friend's FB group in Jockland.

I think you may have answered your own question there...

The commentary said MV was explaining to his race engineers, that he'd tried it four times before leaving the bike. FOUR TIMES!
  9. You could try Amazon or Ubuy, is the filter's part number BES008WHT0NUC1?
  10. Honey???
  11. Gluten... It's Gluten. A very low percentage of the world's population are intolerant to Gluten. Although, for those that are, the symptoms can be debilitating: similar to IBS but the consequences are far worse.

It's not about the fans, it's all about the sales. There was also a line a few years ago about how would MotoGP survive if Rossi retires. Looks like he's not going anywhere anytime soon. It seems as long as he has a seat he'll ride. Disclaimer: I am not a Rossi fan. I'm ambivalent about the man. My personal favourite in the MotoGP class was the Ducati with Casey Stoner. And previously the Alice (pronounced Al ee chay) sponsored Ducati with Troy Bayliss. Hmmm I think there may be a pattern emerging here... I'm a fan of Motorcycle Racing in (most) of its forms. So as far as I'm concerned, the more characters involved the better it (the competition) is. Oh and MotoGP will be fine if Rossi ever retires.

In other news: Wayne Rainey rode a motorcycle for the first time in twenty-six years.
  14. There's a 1997 model for sale in Sedgefield. A snip at R230 000. https://www.sedgeclasscars.co.za/details.php?CarID=2360
  15. Not necessarily It can be used as a descriptor.
  16. Why did that moron start his little crusade in that thread? An absolute melt.
  17. It's called the long read for a reason... The "War" references are a bit hyperbolic. But it is worth a read. When you get the time of course.
  18. A superb article. With some excellent socio-political pointers. Compulsory reading for some of the eedjit trolls. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/oct/25/why-do-people-hate-vegans
  19. If you're near Paarden Eiland at any point, North Safety Products are excellent. They have all types of gloves. I think we used to get a box of Nitrile (100 pairs) for apbout R40. They also stock Uvex kit which is very good.
  20. It's not like Champagne as Champagne is a region. That's why no one else can call their fizz Champagne.
  21. The most pertinent part of that article is: "Utah Sen. Mike Lee put it, “No one buys almond milk under the false illusion that it came from a cow. They buy almond milk because it didn’t come from a cow.” There seem to be more victories from the plant based product companies than the meat and dairy industry based pressure for packaging law amendments. i.e. common sense.
  22. Also, Spytify records while you play and gives you the option to save. Search for it using your favourite engine. It'll turn up. It's open source so quite safe. Or here: https://jwallet.github.io/spy-spotify/
  23. Oh I see. Hmmm... Would this help: https://www.tunefab.com/spotify/spotify-to-mp3-converter-online.html Options to convert online. I've not tried myself but they seem pretty straightforward.
