    I know a Ukrainian with an Irish brogue. He was a doorman at a Dublin pub in his spare time whilst at Trinity. When we first met I couldn't have a conversation without grinning (my Dad was Irish) and I was also domiciled in Ireland at the time (2008). We're still friends to this day even though the pisstaking was massive. Oi'm goin'a kill yeh. With a Ukrainian/Dublin accent is still one of my favourite sounds: uttered in jest of course. Unfortunately I have an RP style English accent after having any regionality bashed out at various schools. It doesn't seem to change no matter in which country I live. I just pick up colloquialisms. I did unknowingly bring back a light head wobble (indicating thank you/of course/I agree) from India after being the only Westerner working with an exclusively local bunch after multiple three month stints. My partner could not stop giggling.

    Gluten... It's Gluten. A very low percentage of the world's population are intolerant to Gluten. Although, for those that are, the symptoms can be debilitating: similar to IBS but the consequences are far worse.

    It's not about the fans, it's all about the sales. There was also a line a few years ago about how would MotoGP survive if Rossi retires. Looks like he's not going anywhere anytime soon. It seems as long as he has a seat he'll ride. Disclaimer: I am not a Rossi fan. I'm ambivalent about the man. My personal favourite in the MotoGP class was the Ducati with Casey Stoner. And previously the Alice (pronounced Al ee chay) sponsored Ducati with Troy Bayliss. Hmmm I think there may be a pattern emerging here... I'm a fan of Motorcycle Racing in (most) of its forms. So as far as I'm concerned, the more characters involved the better it (the competition) is. Oh and MotoGP will be fine if Rossi ever retires.

    If you're near Paarden Eiland at any point, North Safety Products are excellent. They have all types of gloves. I think we used to get a box of Nitrile (100 pairs) for apbout R40. They also stock Uvex kit which is very good.

    Dammit! that's horrid. Glad to hear you're physically ok. Just be careful of obsessing over the incident and replaying all of the different ways the scenario could have played out. It can lead to unresolved anger issues. Remember it was not your fault. Low winter sun is a real hazard.
