  1. For windows platform you can look at ERGVideo, has some free plans, else can sync structured workouts from Trainingpeaks if you have plans
  2. ".there’s too many okes saying do this and do that without ever having done anything or achieved their own sporting goals.." What you said is that unless a coach has achieved something personally then he should not be considered, so is not speaking to the point your are making! It is what John was alluding to. Every sport is full of ex pros who fall into coaching and management and are generally failures. The ones who become top of their game are often mediocre in their own personal abilities as they don't have the genes to make the top 1%, but understand the theory and personal interaction to get the best for a client so that they achieve their goals.
  3. Try nose down a few mm rather than flat as most road saddles are, see if that helps
  4. You sure 220v as most wifi routers are 5v, 9v or 12v, same as the fibre box
  5. Wibox is not expensive same as other router ups which are small and designed just for your wifi router and ISP box https://arionpower.co.za/product/wibox/ an
  6. I will be there along with a few of my athletes. At least the weather is improving and will not be so windy. On the bike leg the first part out of town and at the turn-around will be the worst of the hills, the rest is a gradual grind on the way out. Will be a nice and fast return to T2. Good luck and enjoy your race!!
  7. Ya I think with all the media and sponsorship demands after winning Kona for the first time am sure there was limited time to train let alone recover from the Kona effort that even he admitted was hard. Also felt for him and never like to see someone pull out. At least KB kept us entertained on the last 3 miles of the run!! Didn't figure Kanute would be in the mix!! Great effort....

  9. That is a DA9000 RD will go up to 28T
  10. As an aside it is not only in SA. British cycling which I follow, have very few road races or even tours these days. They also tried to adapt by having crit racing around various areas/towns so to try to get crowds to watch (Crit racing also big in the US). After a few years this also now seems to be dying and sponsors also pulling out. So difficult in current climate and there does not seem to be the desire to race like it use to be.
  11. Think Iden will take it from KB although KB is better at the shorter distance. Cannot see anyone else over the Norwegian Train. Ditlev perhaps to be in the mix? Tough to call between Lucy and Taylor Knibb, with Emma Pallant as the dark horse
  12. If going on a holiday, consider hiring in France, plenty of options and a lot less hassle
  13. 2nd in Stage 7 at Langkawi https://www.cyclingnews.com/races/le-tour-de-langkawi-2022/stage-7/results/
  14. I use a cable stretcher pliers. Icetools and Pedro's make them too. If for any reason that does not work then I use a Shimano MTB brake block spacer

  16. Considering she had most of the year out with injury, think it was a great achievement and I see on insta she is very happy with the result. Her time will come
  17. For your router and fibre get something like this https://www.takealot.com/gizzu-8800mah-mini-ups-dual-dc/PLID71930088 Especially if you going the inverter and battery box for laptop/tv etc
  18. Race went well for me and 3 of my athletes doing their first 70.3. All finished, all have stories and all are happy!! Conditions were great, except for the heat and humidity on the run. Hopefully we will be back to racing in June next year rather than the heat and humidity of October
  19. Broke a bolt on the clamp to the extension, so had to ride with just the one extension on the tri bike
  20. Cheers for the support and good to catch up after the race!
  21. https://www.teljoy.co.za/elite-suito-home-trainer For a little bit more of what you pay for a few months rental, there some tacx and a bkool smart wheel on trainers in the classified that will do the job for structured workouts for a triathlon training as you are not sprinting and generally only doing intervals in Z4, so wont have to worry about any wheel slippage and will be good enough. You can also use it then after Mossel Bay 70.3
