Take the expensive XT chainring back for a cash refund. It is your right as a consumer. A plain Deore will work just as well. I had the same dilemma 2 years ago. New XT ring was then exactly R812 at every bike shop. I bought a Deore for R100 and it is still going strong.
Doggone, I can vouch for the quality and quantity of food at the 3 Towers. My riding partner and I, we are big men with big appetites. And that is on a normal day without riding our bikes. If you are a regular camper you will enjoy the camping facilities.
Us South Africans cannot share anything politely, cannot be considerate to anyone else. Our mentality is that when you are a motorist, the guy who is going slower than you are an idiot, and the guy going faster is a menace. Most of us will not try to push a truck off the road for the obvious reason, but the guy with the smaller vehicle must just get out of the way or we will run him off the road. Playground bullies.
Howzit Yster, haven't tried it with the full finger gloves, mine is winter models and a pest to wear in summer. But, I can comment that it uses resistive touch technology (unlike the newer capacitive as on your iphone) so in theory it should work ok with almost any pointing device. You have to use a fair amount of pressure to get response but that is good imho. They say the screen is tough but I have already managed to scratch mine (i managed to break my arm last week), so a screen protector should be compulsory.
I got hold of a review and it looks to be a decent helmet regardless of the marketing claims, which seems to be combination of math with main ingredients reduction of weight and aerodynamic shape, as long as you ride at a pretty decent pace next to your buddy and never slipstream.
That's not much, like 0.25km/h faster. I am sure that the rider without the fancy helmet will be adjusting his output to 251W and be 10m in front after an hour.
If small enough (and depending on the frame itself) one can stuff it in a few other places, such as the handlebar, certain stems, inside the seatpost itself, or maybe if you take the bb out you can stick it inside either of the 2 tubes. A very good idea.
... Some cars were very advanced and a lot of work to steal though, like Volvos... Pretty accurate. I have the key and I have difficulty getting it moving.
My analytical mind has a lot of issues to deal with, it's not easy. But I am planning to meet them half-way. I am first going to try just a 29er front wheel in a rigid fork.
Not knocking your experience, glad that you have found a comfy combination of settings that suit your style, but can you confirm the same tyres, same tyre pressure, same bb height, same front shock and pressure, same headset angle between both bikes?
Dominators do not have good ventilation, so not the best idea for spinning (for more than one session, but who does more than one anyway? If you haven't killed yourself in 45-60 min you are holding back.).
