    Last year with the Lockdown sales on the online shops I found a good deal on a Full carbon Cannondale at cyclelab. Ordered, paid, etc. later when I followed seems they did not have the bike in stock anymore and it was actually an alu bike. offered me some shitty deal on another donkey they could not sell According to the slightly helpfull person I spoke to, it was wrong spec in the detail spec list and there were many errors. Feedback from them was they get the spec lists from the suppliers and just load on the online shop. I asked them for a refund, and will never return.

    I am looking at one of these to use on top of my suzuki Jimny gen3. anyone that have experience with them.     I Just built a gravel bike. Used normal "narrow-ish" road bars. It has been 7 years since I was last on a road bike, and this felt twitchy as F****, to the point it felt dangerous to me. Cant Imagine I used to race on these handlebars. Will now look for wider bars, and then decide if this is going back to mtb bars

    I lived in Yokohama for 2 years, and the heat/humidity in August is no joke. The race starts at 11am, so I think this is going to be a huge factor. humidity in August is 95-100%. attrition rate is going to be very high

    A bit off topic from flyfishing. I do fly, bass and also "some papgooi" I signed up for a "Monster carp safari" weekend, where they teach you the finer points of carp specimen fishing. Anyone into specimen angling?

    I had a Xiaomi watch, and it did not sync with Discovery, but worked well with Strava. Gave it to my sister eventually, and went back to polar, as the discovery was a deallbreaker for me For the price it was a neat little watch though, bought it of alixpress while overseas.

    Between June and August at Hazeldean (Cowhouse) there is a winter series of Cross duathlons . Well organised, beer at the finish with good food from the market I have no stake in this other than I just to generate some awareness for this series. The first event was held yesterday, with 3 more coming. The event on the 2nd August will also double as a Gauteng Provincials champs Routes are not technical, but you can really go fast along the well marked routes.     Yes, did the same series. In Gauteng it is only the redhub series, and every few months there is an event at cowhouse as well. Cross duathlon basically died slowly....

    I have a question. I have a set of 105 Hydraulic brake levers, whithout the hydraulic calipers. Can I mate them with older shimano XT MTB calipers? looks like physically it can, but will it work?

    Just commenting to follow your thread. I entered my first duathlon in years (the very expensive Redhub Cross event, due to a lack of options). From my previous training I did, I mostly did a long steady run over weekend, a long bike, one short brick in the week, one hill repeat run session, another bike, and then some speedwork on the run.
