  1. Good morning. Quick question. I am converting one of my mountainbikes to a gravel bike. I have 105 Hydraulic brake levers, but without the Calipers. Are they compatible with normal Shimano MTB calipers? thanks HP
  2. Uphill, I just bought myself a similar Jimny yesterday. To be used for our weekend car to MTB races and for the now and again backroads holiday. How was your experience with the Jimny?
  3. During December, my wife tested positive and almost ended in hospital. I also developed symptoms, but test came back Negative, WTF is up with that? I had mild symptoms, but also struggling to start training. Tired most of the time. biggest issue is with work as I feel my concentration and mental abilities is affected. So I feel dumb, tired and ADHD-like.

  12. Christie, I realized that since I started using the Hoka's for trails, I rolled more ankles than ever before. seem for me the shoe is not stable, as the structure is same as the Hoka Clifton road shoes, with different Grip. I stick to Hokas for road, but switched trails to Mizuno. Faark they are hard
  13. I am watching 13 reasons why on Netflix. On season 1 midway through. Slow burner, but sofar OK
  14. Hope the hotels insurance pays for a replacement
  15. OK, this was the incident I heard off earlier this year. I only started riding there in lockdown, and stick to mornings after 8, then there is a lot of traffic on the trails with people walking, dogs, runners and cyclists
  16. This is my strava link of a few weeks ago riding with my wife. the end of the ride was a few of the trails in the clubview veldt https://www.strava.com/activities/3501787056
  17. years ago there was a mtb race in the reserve, was called the military missile race. there were nice jeeptrack in the reserve. but apparently that was eventually declared a security risk
  18. Great, will do this over weekend
  19. Lehan, ever has any issues with elements in the veld?
  20. Ashwood, close to clubview side(not malboer side). I am going Friday afternoon 4:15 ish if you want to join
  21. If you add 'Philip's Rondo' and the clubview trails at malboer, it can give you a good 25km of trails
  22. Is this route safe all the way round? I will definitely try it over the weekend
  23. This is 2km from my house and there is about 9km of trails in there. in mornings 7-10 on weekends it looks like a race in there with all the walkers, runners, dogs and cyclists. Earlier this year there was a hijacking there, so I would go in a group if outside busy times.
