  7. My two cents out of experience. I found that if the day before a big race I eat the normal pasta, etc. I also drink about 3 litres of carbo drink (I use Race Fuel), there is a major difference the next day after about 60-70km into the race. The additional carbs I take in with the drink keeps off the hunger during the race, more energy and endurance is also much better.

  20. So I should change back to 314 and recalculate the zones. If you re-calculate, there are 3 options, which is the one to work on, I use Coggan power levels. I am a bit new to this, please help!!
  21. My FTP is 300 Watts, based on my IDT sessions. Only tested once on the road, 20 minte TT, came out at 332 watts x .0.95 = 314. But that was at a cadence of about 84, and I normaly ride a cadence of about 95. So I am working on 300watts at the moment.
