Want to use it on my run days. I have a normal camelback I use for MTB, but is a waste to use on a 12-15km run. looks like the bounce will be less than on a big bottle belt and looks like it has space for a phone (if its not on Strava, it did not happen)

Remember in a race we were going down hekpoort, and Grant was sitting next to me, and we were doing about 65km/h. Next moment he was gone. He struck a cateye and went down head first, that is one of the worst sounds when carbon and steel hit tar... Thought he was a goner that day.

Heard from a colleague there was a pretty violent attack on a mtb'er in Groenkloof or fountains this weekend. Bike not taken, just belongings. Any more info?

I usually do hill training on Sunday at Kalpperkop. Feels still safe on the road as there are a lot of runners/cyclist there at that time But then you get the people that go hiking there.... Saw a man and a woman hiking there yesterday around 6:30 am on the west side of the radio tower. I mean are you a special type of stupid to go walking there?? Tried getting their attention, they just waved back and continued..

Not sure if this was mentioned allready... Anyone see the kid that got injured on the 25km mtb, saw him lying on a rocky downhill and I thought he just had a nasty fall. Then I saw the pictures posted on facebook today and it was a bit of a shocker Apparently on of the 50km riders pushed him off his bike and just sped off without cheking to see if he is ok. The brake lever went almost straight through his thigh, missing his artery by milimeters. The pictures are quie scary, he is very lucky to be alive. His parents are now enquiring if anyone knows who the rider was... Post here if you saw anything
