Guys guys guys, let's not fool ourselves, THEY ARE ALL "DOPING"! It just depends on how you define "doping" of course. Every pro tour cyclist is taking some sort of supplement that will one day be banned and classified as doping. The doctors and chemists of the teams probably have 100 times more resources than the anti doping agencies so they will always be ahead of the game. Think about it, back in the day, the riders used to take Ecstasy to improve their performance, Ecstasy was only banned many years later, so were they doping?

Good point, Perhaps they can convince Newey to retire? The signing of Lotus's Loic Bigois is a good move at least. I don't think it's even the engines that are the problem, Ferrari were one of the fastest cars through the speed traps at the super fast Monza. In my opinion, the aerodynamics and inability of the Ferrari's to warm up the tyres effectively and set a fast single lap in qualifying are the biggest issues. Ferrari have only had 2 poles (or front row starts) in the last 2 seasons and both of those were set by rain master Alonso in the wet.

Ferrari should have signed Adrian Newey instead of having two number 1 drivers in a B-class car that can't qualify. I really hope they pull finger and give Fernando and Kimi a car that can challenge the Red Bull's in 2014.

I went to the American's Cup racing in San Francisco last year, it was brilliant and the American crowds are always vibey and passionate when it comes to sport.

Not bad for a sprinter on a mountain top finish. He has also had two top 10 finishes in sprint finishes. Decent first grand tour for him.

Although truthfully I did support Nibs in the '12 TDF and this years Giro (mainly because he was up against a certain whiny Pom), I would like someone different to take this Grand Tour. I have to agree that as a Joburger I'm not used to wind, I recently did training in Holland and although the biggest hill I wrote was a bridge over a motorway, the North Sea wind had me feeling like I was cycling backwards at times. Anyway, back to topic, The Argus!!!

People will definitely be selling their entries nearer the time and if all else fails, sign up with a charity group such as Paige Project and although you will start in the charity start groups and not the seeded groups, at least you will be there.

Good point hey. And the fact that three of the best current cyclists in Froome, Quintana and Contador are missing from the Vuelta also takes a little away from the achievement of winning it. However, as mentioned by the last few posts, yesterdays split among the leaders has made the final week all the more exciting. I'd love Horner to win just to shake up the history books.

Just like Schumacher isn't better than Senna because he won more races and championships, Vettel is not better than Alonso. AND although I'm no fan of the guy, Hamilton on his day is also right up there as one of the best current drivers. Make no mistake, Vettel is a superb driver but why ask yourself why Alonso annihilates him every time it has rained in the last few seasons. Food for thought hey.
