  1. I must say that Janos and Evobikes have given me great service in the past as well.
  2. The class of two of South Africa's finest is clear for all to see. Perhaps they can do the double in Sundays road race?!
  3. Guys, please try change this to a Racetec timed race for next year.
  4. Yeah, coming out of Heidelberg there are some good leg burning hills.
  5. Nothing like making us drive to the other side of Joburg to collect nothing but a printed number that we could have printed at work.
  6. Also be warned that if it's a similar route to last year, it's actually around 102km, so a bit longer than claimed.
  7. Don't stress Wendy, it's an awesome race and if you have survived Suikerbossie you will be fine with Krugersdorp hill. See this as an opportunity to massively improve your 94.7 and Argus 2015 seedings
  8. I'm also in VA, and yes... I'm expecting some insanity for the climb up Krugersdorp hill at the start.

    Argus 2014

I've been told that the Argus seeding groups will be released by this week Friday latest.
  10. Me too... me too!
  11. Agreed!
  12. Is their service good? I'm using them this year for the first time. I particularly like the fact that the drop-off point is at the finish line.
  13. Careful with applying inners to your shoes. I once went for the BG bike fit at Concept Cyclery and they insisted that I fit inners (they basically try sell you as much as they can). Thereafter, my comfortable shoes started giving me pins and needles and I tossed them. As for potential causes of your issue, ensure that your cleats are positioned correctly? Perhaps try move them back on your shoes?
  14. See you at the start at 6:00am
  15. The new nose jobs are an epic fail to say the very least. Ferrari & Mercedes are probably the best of a bad bunch I guess.
  16. I've some Craft and First Accent that I like. I recon for R500-R700 you will get a good pair of Craft.
  17. Yeah not much use when the licensed groups start by 6:00. And yes, I don't get the logic behind this either.
  18. I enjoyed this race last year. Well organised and local for East Randers.
  19. Yeah agree with most of the above! Incredible how after paying R500 per year, CSA can't even get us our licenses before the season starts. The other major CSA rip off is the "reprint license" button on the website, which appears after your racing license is approved. Instead of reprinting a racing license, it just prints the exact same CSA license with an updated date and charges you R35.
  20. In reply to the very cranky guy named cranky, they did mention that the official launch party is only in a few weeks and not all their stock had arrived (including some high end Italian road bikes). I'm more roadie than MTB-er, so asked such questions obviously. That said, I think this will be the "coolest" LBS in the East Rand. I'm looking forward to big things from these guys
  21. So after the long long wait, Ridgeway Cycles opened this past weekend and the shop looks amazing! It's next to Honda Stonerige / Ridgeway Sports Bar in Greenstone, go check it out. Ps. i'll try find out if they have any opening specials
  22. House Of Cards anyone? Kevin Spacey is superb in it.
  23. Great race yesterday, very happy with my 2:38. When I finished just after 9am, it was already over 30 degrees, so massive respect to all those cyclists that rode through the midday sun and heat.
  24. That's David who is one of the directors of the Paige Project. Awesome guy and fantastic charity!
  25. Yes, the reserve is indeed the area where the bike park is situated, so presumable that will be unaffected.
