  1. I sure hope so, I went for him in the ASG picks competition. Very strong breakaway group though. Gilbert & Voekler are also good bets for the win.
  2. Scared of descents? So that makes both him and Bradley Wiggans then...
  3. So good to see that nearly every track athlete medal winner from London 2012 has been found guilty of doping. So cycling is full of drugs is it? I've said for a long time that the Olympics is the biggest drug fest since Woodstock in 1969!
  4. Pinot along with van Garderen have been the biggest disappointments of the entire tour.
  5. The breaks advantage has dropped from 9:00 to 6:44... Another sprint finish for the usual contenders then (unless the hairpin bend at the finish catches them out).
  6. I actually agree in some respect with both of these posts. Yes I do believe that the sport is the cleanest it has been in many many years, HOWEVER, I have no doubt than most, if not all of the top guys are "pushing the limits". Infact a friend of mine rides for MTN Quebeka and those were his exact words. Something else to consider is that what might be borderline legal now will be considered a drug in years to come. I have no doubt that the money being spent to develop these "limit pushing" supplements is far more than that UCI and co are spending to identify and ban these substances. It's a game of catchup for the anti drug and cycling agencies. So how to you really define doping?

    Sailing

I also always thought of sailing as boring and used to fall into deep sleep when sailing would come on TV, however last year I was in San Francisco during the American's Cup and decided to go to SF Bay to watch. It was sensational, with big crowds and plenty of action.
  8. I have tried it and it's a great form of exercise but wow it makes for snooze worthy conversations at dinner parties.
  9. I think in Contador's case, his lack of performance is not down to doping... It's down to how he now eats far less "Spanish beef"...
  10. Q. How do you know someone does crossfit? A. They will tell you!
  11. As above... But then again I am biased Go Froome Dog!!!
  12. If Tyler had donated to a charity all of the money he made from his book and sessions like this, then your comment would be extremely valid. Sadly there is a difference between asking for forgiveness and making millions while forgiving yourself.
  13. Exactly! I rate Tyler Hamilton alongside Lance Armstrong except Lance was a far better cyclist.
  14. I suppose Discovery's opposition medical aid Bonetas do support a cycling team with several convicted dopers, so Discovery thought why not?
  15. Good to see that Discovery are supporting doping victims drugging cheats to promote well being and cycling
  16. There are no lights around the track. It's definitely good interval training as you are climbing Wesbank hill every 10 or so minutes. They also change the direction that you cycle the track each time to mix it up a bit.
  17. What he said...
  18. Someone is clearly p!ssed off with Mark...
  19. Spartacus apart (who obviously isn't in the race this year) no one will beat a fully fit Matin and assuming he has mostly recovered from his stage 1 crash, he should be taking this with ease.
  20. After having been useless in the mountains, I have a feeling Tejay will come right in the TT today...
  21. What if you go into the store with a non-Garmin GPS and say that the problem you have is that you don't have a Garmin
  22. This is a superb comparison, great work Andydude
