  1. Such a great day for South African cycling.
  2. Agreed, Arashiro & Delaplace are going to ruin it for the lot of them
  3. The gap drops to 10min55 as Orica GreenEdge start working on the front of the peloton.
  4. The breakaway is made up of the following riders: - Yukiya Arashiro (JPN) EUC: 75th overall at 3'42" - Kevin Reza (FRA) EUC: 177th overall at 27'44" - Romain Sicard (FRA) EUS: 174th overall at 27'31" - Thomas De Gendt (BEL) VCD: 150th overall at 24'48" - Anthony Delaplace (FRA) SOJ: 86th overall at 6'01" - Alexey Lutsenko (KAZ) AST: 142nd overall at 22'54" So actually Yukiya Arashiro is slight threat to the GC at the moment. I feel that Orica Greenedge would be quite happy to let a breakaway win so long as they don't threaten Gerrans time wise. Howeevr, I'd expect the likes of Quickstep and Argos Shimano to do some pace making in the peloton shortly.
  5. Racing has already started with a breakaway of six 11min30 clear of the peloton after 67km. The gap was as high as 12min45 at one point although some of the riders in the breakaway are around 10 minutes off the leaders and obviously that was becoming a threat to the yellow.
  6. Basically all you need to know is that to take yellow, Daryl must finish 10 places ahead of Gerrans today
  7. Dry fruit and/or nuts are a good alternative I find.
  8. A potential snooze fest... Apart from the beautiful French countryside and coastline which is always a treat.
  9. Yeah I think your first sentence sums up the situation... I bet Daryl is kicking himself for being a "good oak" and leading out Gerrans and not the other way around on stage 3.
  10. What do these go for on the open market? B)
  11. I recon Ted Kind should have dopped before yesterdays TTT.
  12. Maybe get the cars registration and post it publically here?
  13. So Daryl needs to finish at the same/similar time as the winners and 10 places ahead of Gerrans to snatch the yellow jersey. Any chance of this happening, taking into account the fact that generally in a sprint finish Daryl should fare better against Cav & Greipel than Gerrans...
  14. I was thinking just that, if King was French he would have been allowed to ride on for sure.
  15. I thought 'Dale was a just a rather aggressive looking Eastern European?
  16. I wouldn't touch Outsurance on any insurance.
  17. If my three teams don't dominate today's TTT I actually give up and will start watching curling instead of cycling
  18. There is still some sort of doping in all forms pro cycling, however it is far less than in the past two decades and I think most sportsman in all pro sports are cheating in some way or another, it's just that cycling is the sport in the limelight with the most testing. Seriously, how can runners break a 100m record on a yearly basis without pumping something illegal into their bodies?
  19. That baby blue pushbike doesn't do much for an otherwise sexy photo.
  20. I have no doubt that after the TTT normality will resume with Cav dominating the next few days of sprints. As for Goss, he hasn't had form in over a year and should hand over the reigns to Daryl and Gerrans permanently.
  21. HAHA, here we are calling on predictability
  22. I'm just waiting for someone other than Sagan to score me a single point... It seems I'm not the only one Come forward ye old sprint and mountain stages... Wez-O needs some points!
  23. Here is the new Skoda TV advert for the Tour de France, they always seem to have great ads for the occasion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ5frAujSck And here is an advert of theirs from 2 years back.
  24. I'm quite sure there will be a serious attack over the last climb that summits with 12km to go.
