  1. Okay so the the finish is on the same uphill drag as previous years but entering from the left not right?
  2. Exactly what this fine young gentleman said! Why would I pay to read hard copy adverts and information that is freely available (plus more) at the click of a mouse?!
  3. Just trying to get my bearings here, will we then go past the Kempton railway lines toward the finish?
  4. Great question indeed! I can't help but feel that the full results will never be known. Heck they couldn't even get the 30-34 winners right and initially had third as second and a random name as the winner.
  5. I imploded out of the break after putting in some hard turns to get the original 3-man break away. My teammates were superb though. Well ridden Rasta as well
  6. *Bump* What TFSA ETFs should we be investing in... Or should we be waiting for the junk status hit?
  7. Karan Beef, Token, EuropCar/Road Cover
  8. Cool although no KOMs on these bikes
  9. On that topic, I recently heard a well known industry expert say that no one really knows where the "bottom" for oil is and the real bottom is infact $0/barrel.
  10. Thanks a mil bud! Will inbox you.
  11. I must be honest, for value for money, these do look a good bet. Its difficult to justify paying and extra R8k (on the undeniably brilliant) Campy Boro Ones when the Fulcrums are from the same factory (apparently). The Tokens have nothing but rave reviews, but are a touch understated looks wise.
  12. Wow thanks Meezo, very kind of you, although I absolutely don't expect to borrow someones bike.
  13. Out of interest, what would a decent price for both of the above be?
  14. Hey Hubbers, So it appears I'm in the market for new road clinches. Looking for around 30mm depth and the sub R30k price range... Some potential candidates thus far: - Campagnolo Boro One 35mm (1,350g/set) - Fulcrum Racing Zero Carbon 30mm (1,358g) - Corima VivaS Carbon Clinchers 33mm (1,400g) Others?
  15. Guys, Would anyone know where one could hire a road bike from for a day or two in Cape Town City area? I've got a last minute trip there and would love to do a morning ride around the bay. Thanks Wez
  16. Thanks both! The RESI does look attractive, especially after reading how the battered BHP Biliton is a good long-term contrarian investment.
  17. Interesting, looks a decent organisation... So, the question is, which is the intelligent Satrix option at this point... Here they are: www.satrixnow.co.za/Equity
  18. Who is easiest/cheapest to trade ETFs through in SA? Also, how would one trade US-based ETFs from SA?
  19. Myles, Dave, very interesting and thanks a lot guys. Investing is daunting yet exciting at the same time.
