  1. Let me know if you guys start a league for the King Of The Mountains Velo Competition.
  2. I cannot believe how few people have selected Greipel and Costa... Go boys!
  3. I sure hope the bike isn't scratched after falling off the truck...
  4. Weird, I can't join either league.
  5. I can't help but feel that Formula 1 (much like football) is being ruined by the sports governing body. What a rubbish season with cars that sound like Scalextrics.
  6. What was the group code again?
  7. Could somebody please summarize the last 32 pages for me?
  8. So the biggest entry list ever?
  9. Agreed and agreed!
  10. Now I at least know why Impey was faster than me on the Cradle Strava points!
  11. Many of tough choices for this years tour with so many contenders in every category...
  12. I like the new route actually, the second half of the race on the old one was always a bit of an anti-climax with the dull N14. This looks good and whether there is or isn't more climbing? Well who cycles to get an easy ride anyway?

    Smoove Lube

I haven't used the product myself but have heard this said from someone else hey.
  14. This is brilliant Gerald! Thanks and looking forward to this one.
  15. Credit where its due... The best man (comfortably) won! However, It would be interesting the see where Quintana would.. 1. Stack against the worlds top cyclists (Froome, Nibali, Contador, Rodriguez). I'm thinking last years Le Tour would still be a good reference point. 2 A Grand Tour with a flat "Tony Martin type" time trail. I'm thinking last years Le Tour would still be a good reference point.
  16. I also think that the Giro organisers should use real champagne on the podium instead of Italian bubbly wine :whistling:
  17. Quintana had better hope that every grand tour has only mountainous time trails though...
  18. Two things from my side: 1. As mentioned by many posters in the past, I do think that when race organisers mix the long and short routes, it is dangerous (with riders of different speed and experience levels being filtered into one hot mess). 2. HOWEVER, should you choose to start in the "funrider" shorter groups, you are clearly just doing the "race" for a fun day out and shouldn't be too worried about "racing" and the OP therefore does have a point in his animated rant.
  19. With the three grand tours so close together on the world tour calender, the Giro and Vuelta are always going to have less of the stars than Le Tour. Moto GP and some clay surfaced tennis have nothing on Le Tour
  20. I'll definitely pop past!
  21. I'd also go with the Indoor trainer option... You get the same bike setup that you have on the road and the a Tacx is quick and easy to use!
  22. Also a good bet actually!
  23. Thats great news!!! I have received some great service from the Velolife lads at the Panorama Tour over the years. All the best guys!
  24. I would presume that the answer to both of these questions is yes..
  25. I've just heated up the popcorn and got comfy on the couch in preparation for the great 29er vs 650b debate...
