agree. TOSA is on now and we all need to take ownership of what is left - all cyclists. Talk about it to people and make the aware of what is going on - that is the best we can do if you cant get involved. lets flame the powers to be when its done - no matter the outcome.

ask someone(second year civil/mechanical engineering budy should do) to work out the shear on the bolts then you'll know - though you may argue that the 6 bolts also help with the in plane deflection of the rotor. i recall reading/hearing julion absalon removing some bolts on his rotors and crank - then again, he has got pro mechs looking after him.

i read you post again, sorry jumped the gun. Yes, ep cycling probably made the stuff up and i bet my lance nut on it they will blame the local authorities. the reality is that CSA is our "client". to put it simple. if one of my employees/sub contractors/suppliers stuff up, who is responsible for damages to my client? Works the same here. Easy to pass the buck

so you want to blame the police? or PE? or the motorists? CSA have to make sure that everything is in place. The guy taking the money is responsible!

surely the guys awarding it to them should make sure that everything is OK for race day....a week before the event. the TOP takes the punch...the then have to go sort out who to blame further down.
