350 each is a good price, they last forever I have 1 on the rear and 6000km and hardly warn and I'm 84kg, their not as stable as the 3000s, but then again you get more k's out of them.

I have to give my 2 cents, I have a friend who rode 70 000km on a pair of XT rims, so they must be great rims, as for Mavic, they must pretty much on par with XT, I personally like the "look and feel" of Mavic more, thus I would go with the Mavic's I would go with whatever is cheaper, because the performance difference between the 2 wheels will be minimal, unless you go top of the line Mavic and spend 10k on a pair of wheels. 10 years ago, around 3k..... 2 days in hospital, bike was ok.

Shimano could win the tour, Shimano parts are just as fast as Campy or Sram(and costs less), and LA and Conti might be out of the tour in the first week due to crashes...nothing is certain in cycling.... Just thinking out loud, if I had the money I would probably ride Campy too and pay 3k for a cassette hehe

Also check your front disc, that its tight, happened to me once I thought it was my headset and it ended up being the disc that wasn't tight, they vibrate loose sometimes after hours in the saddle.

Lance thinks that, Jan is the best athlete he has ever raced against, a guy with a resting heart rate of 24 when fit, its all about science, if Jan , trained like Lance he would have been unbeatable against any opposition even the likes of Eddy wouldn't have a snowballs chance, logic tells me that.

I have 2 pairs or Specializies, they really the longest lasting shoes i;ve ever owned, and I used to own them all, (diadoras,sidi;johnluck,shimano,Nw ect)

Eddy might have won the most races but you can't compare him with guys like Lance and Jan, they are freaks and would have beaten Eddy ...Badly x 1000 if they raced him on the day.

I've seen a U tube clip of Greg riding, the man is scared when he cycles downhill, over the big drops he says...WHOAAA(helmet cam) , seems like fear is your friend when you're the DH champ of the world, then again I must say, i'm not that scared but then again I haven't wiped out at 70km/hour off road yet!

The only thing I hate about Ultegra is the blade wear, and its 600 bucks to replace a blade.... madness!
