    Saddles?

I would really like to try out a Gobi, everyone that owns one rave about them, the thing I don't get is way they have to cost 2k, why are saddles so expensive?
  2. I've been riding a ten speed hollowtech Ultegra crank for the past 30 000 odd km and after buying a new frame I installed the old bb and crank into the new frame , it wouldnt spin like it used to, infact it wouldnt spin at all its kinda stiff. My question is, do I need new cups? can you buy new cups? or do I need to buy a new crank to make it spin again? ( I lubed everything properly before re-installing)
  3. T - word.... twit haha

  5. half ur kilo's do stretching b4 and after each ride, 20 min...yes its boring and painful! Ice lots of ice on the soreness and I would stay away from physios they did me more harm than good the last time I went! Also try and raise ur saddle by 2-3 mm...that worked wonders in the early stages when I had lots of pain. JPW#2009-01-27 09:10:34

  7. I think the KCNC products are worth it, their really cheap compared to products like Ritchey,Hope ect their not the same quality but you get them at less than half the price, just don't try and ride across America too often with them.
  8. My momma once said don't believe all the things you hear on the radio or read in the huisvyand (huis genoot) Lance wants money for cancer not for himself, if he never had cancer you could argue with that.

    Carbon Frames

Nope, the answer is only meaningless to those who think its meaningless ) The stats are just a rough guide, for those who want peace of mind, you cant ride a frame forever and think its going to last forever, it wont, nothing on this planet lasts forever, its all made to be destroyed.
  10. I'll ride any Mavic wheel anytime , I trust the company , wonder how badly those "flopped" wheels really were, my guess is their still better than the ave Shimano wheels out there who's hubs only lasts you until the first small pot hole comes along. JPW#2009-01-24 11:26:05
  11. My two cents, Mavic doesn't make junk.

    Carbon Frames

I spoke to a fiber expert the other day and he recons, 150 000 km before fiber fatigue sets in and for the new generation carbon frames (the ones that costs a zillion rands, think their called nanofibre or something , they are suppose to have double the life span of the previous generation frames, thus roughly 300 000km of riding.Thats about 6 seasons of riding for Lance...hehe JPW#2009-01-24 11:06:43
