  1. Flip Thanks! Im sorry I never saw this!
  2. I looked on CWC, Ultegra is R11 500, I am saving haha
  3. Just bought this (2011 model but never built up) from Olympic cycles for a pretty good deal (I Think). Going to build it up with Ultegra 11spd, Ultegra wheels and maybe Ritchey components. Hoping to get it under 7Kgs...Any suggestions on the build? My budget for all parts is 20K. I can get the groupset for 10k, wheels for just under 5K so that leaves another 5k for seatpost, stem, bars, extras and build.
  4. Yes but why would you want to use your medical savings for stuff like that. Then later when you want to go to the doc you have to pay out of pocket. Rather just get your healthy gear card, do the tests so you get your 25% back from Sportsmans Warehouse (they are taking the place of Adidas as a cash back partner from the beginning of the year)and you'll be getting back more than R700 if you go buy a high end Garmin or Polar. My opinion at least.
  5. All three school boys in the foreground of the pic are on 100k Epics....wish my dad had bought me one of those in school! haha
  6. They did the same for me when one of the lugs that hold the bottle cage in came out of the frame. dropped it off at the LBS and within two days I had a brand new frame. Awesome service! Cant wait to see their 2015 road bikes in stores soon!

  9. To get back on topic....Depending on where you live why not take up canoeing/paddling/surfski paddling. I swim and paddle and personally I would prefer doing paddling as its way more social and you not left starring at a line in a pool for an hour!
  10. Ok so I'm thinking of getting a R5 SL lookalike, carbon seatpost, handlebar and some 30mm carbon clinchers...where is the best place to get all of this and how do I go about doing it?
  11. I have a friend who uses Castelli and Giordana and is very happy with the two brands.
  12. Those flat pedals alone are worth like R50!
  13. Has anyone bought the Colnago EPS Frame? Definitely don't wana get a fake lookalike Colnago but was thinking a matt unbranded frame would look rad with some low profile carbon rims.
  14. Oh well then it makes sense why it costs so much! You get a "free" helmet and shoes!
  15. Does anyone know if there is a warranty on Giro gloves? Bought a pair of Bravo long finger gloves two weeks ago and after two rides the stitching around the right thumb has completely come undone. I rode the Robertson 57km last week and did 15km yesterday with them before noticing the hole.
  16. If you looking for a "bridging loan" I know a company that operates a collective investment scheme specialising in investing in bridging loans that might be able to help you out. pm me for details if you need.
  17. First Pinarello I've ever liked the look of...
  18. "PS. Don't get me wrong, the Epic is on my ToDo List." Maybe once its on the "Done" list opinions will change....
  19. Can someone tell me how import duties work on frames? And not just for the Chinese stuff, been looking at frames from www.canyon.com as well.
  20. Just a question regarding liquids. The rules say no liquids in the support box...so how do you refill bottles?
  21. Only coffee shop in Kalk Bay that truly has a clue is Our Espresso Bar behind Artvark Art Gallery. You should hear the barista rage when someone sends the coffee back because its "too cold"!!!
  22. I have a nespresso at home but the pods become a mission...I'm enjoying the simplicity of the aero press.
