Since we asking...last road race I did was the Knysna race that was shortened from 100km to 80km. Did it in 2hours23min, Anyone want to hazard a guess as to how far that's off a sub 3 Argus?

So I'm hoping to make a bit of bike porn of my own using an old alu Giant TCR frame, want to strip it to the bare alu then add some carbon, unbranded deep sections and a sweet all black groupset. Wanted to know if anyone has stripped an alu frame of all the paint and what's the best stuff to use? What about the fork, should I rather try buy a matt carbon fork?

Unfortunately, there are a few sports where this is the case...no point in shouting because about it because you'll go blue in the face before anything is done. Only thing to do is put your head down and let your results speak! Rock up on race day and make the so called "high performance guys" look like they standing still!

Simple...you can use your road bike for triathlons, but if you go buy a TT bike you cant do road races on it. As a matter of fact I think some triathlons you cant use a TT bike either but I stand to be corrected.

A guy I rode the Knysna 200 with had kit made for us by Craft, seriously good quality and awesome design. Also look at RH77 cycling kit on facebook, they also make amazing custom kit. I tried to enter yesterday for about an hour, tried to pay 6 times but kept saying that the payment did not go through. eventually I gave up only to receive an sms to my phone saying that the entry amount has been debited from my bank account. After that I got an email from the race organizers saying my entry had not been confirmed but I should please not try and pay again...don't worry I wont be trying to...you have my money now give me my entry! haha

if I log out now will it keep my entry for a certain time or will I have to wait in the queue again and redo all my details?

I sure as hell hope my payments aren't going through because I've tried about 6 times....
