I struggle to average 80% HR on the trainer, but have to run just lightly faster to manage it on the treadmill. Hence I've started running a bit more (and quicker), so the rewards system has motivated me and improved my running fitness - which is probably more or less what they are trying to achieve. I am, however, still hoping that the next revision would reward longer efforts at over 70%...

I got 3000 points for the Route 42 race yesterday - HR based. With the last of the bulk training for Sani over the next couple of weeks that's no going to help my goal at all...

I also thought he had a tough time trying to motivate the new system. The reasoning just did not make sense.

Colour is a very personal thing, but I prefer the older colours. Also, I'm really glad my frame does NOT have those bolts on the top tube - for a bag or something. I cannot believe they put that on a racing bike - not new for 2016 though. I honestly feel that there was more attention to detail on the older ones - like the SA flag painted on the pivots. Would have to see the new one in real life to compare properly though. I like the second bottle cage inside the triangle and could really use that - currently have to put the second bottle on the seat post so not a train smash.

I'm sooooo looking forward to doing the B&B for the first time this year and articles and comments like these just adds to the excitement! Can't wait!

I was worried when I read this just now, because I ordered 2 from CWC this morning, but I see it's not available anymore, so I was just in time!

At least their bicycle bibs, helmets and running t-shirts still fits (but I am now moving towards Addidas / Nike for my running clotheswear since I can fit these at any other shop, like SportmansWarehouse). One less South African company to support :-( Sportmans Warehouse stock a wide variety of First Ascent clothing to fit...

Could you order just 3 sets of custom clothing from them?

I've been using Cadence products for some time now and for me they work. Additionally I love the taste - everything from Carbofuel, Classic, Marathon and Revive - and can't see myself using anything else!

I've had a 4mb ADSL line since November and I LOVE it. I find that I no longer watch series or movies using DSTV. I'll rather download it and watch a couple of episodes when I've got the time. Also, when you go on holiday or don't have time to watch a specific episode you don't miss out. I will, however, keep the DSTV for the sport. I realize that a lot of it can be streamed, but I love the fact that there is a wide variety of sport readily available and I don't have to miss out on any live events. In addition I find that my kids don't mind for repeat episodes on the stuff they watch...
