  1. Never tried grip shift, wouldn't mind giving it a go some time.
  2. Try a Fizik Gobi XM for MTB, not for everyone, but great for some.
  3. Sorry about the poor spelling, I was in a hurry when I wrote it. The "inner tube strip thing" works great, you can also cut different thickness strips, for size different holes. When u get home, u just trim off the excess from the outside.
  4. awsome, this is what I love about forums, you have a question, and it gets answered, thanks guys!!!
  5. a pcie of inner tube cut reall thin (like a strip) some glue and a tiny screw driver. Put glue on the pice of inner tune, and fold it over the screw driver and just stick it in the hole. I hope that made sense.
  6. ok so, If I was to pump a bicycle tyre on top of everest to 3bars, then bring the same tyre and pum/gaguge down to sea level, the reading would be less? laike maybe 1.5 bars, due to the additional air pressure at sea level affecting the guage reading? And what the h3ll dose a cat have to do with it??
  7. I was just wonderig about it. Dont worrie, I not oing to try ride up kili....
  8. lol, thats what I thought? But, will it affect they way a Tyre feels at altitude?
  9. What ever happened with this project??
  10. Hi Passably a silly question which I think I know the answer to, but here goes anyway. Dose outside air pressure (ie sea level vs 2000m above sea level) affect shock/fork air pressure?
  11. this is nice!!! http://reviews.roadbikereview.com/files/2009/08/desalvoroad01.jpg
  12. I have been using the Vredestein Black Panthers, and am very happy with them.
  13. Second Gobi XM, although try before you buy, I dont think its for everyone
  14. thanks for an interesting article.
  15. Seems strange to me.
  16. Sorry for slight high-jack: So then is it not a good idea to take a little shock oil and put a little on your stanchions every so often and cycle the shock/fork up and down a few times, then wipe of the excess??
  17. I wipe my whole bike down with an oily rag after every wash
  18. so what happend??
  19. Nice work, I would be very keen to hear the results. Maybe soak a standard (sealed) bearing for 5 minutes, then see if any prepsol has penetrated the bearing??
  20. My buddy polished his, then he got a vinyl XTR stencil made, then had the logo sand blasted (lightly) back on to the cranks, they look awesome!!!
  21. reminds me of were I used to live in Ireland.
  22. Lovely bike, although those XTR cranks looking tired. They need to be polished. I have a buddy who polished his, then he sand blasted the XTR logo back on, look fantastic.
  23. i think mine is R85 / 5l
  24. I usually get mine from midas, it comes in a round white plastic bottle with red writing.
  25. So I guess if you do not spray it enough to penetrate seals, then it should be ok?
