  5. I think wjen it comes to rear shocks stick to fox!
  6. Love them or hate them, CRC has done a lot for the consumer in the bike industry by lowering prices!!!! Good luck to them!!!
  7. Sorry to hear this all. My anthem x broke. 5 days later I had a new frame. What a pleaure to deal with giant.

  9. I had 819's for a few years, these wheels are VERY tough. I rode the Bollocks out of them, and no issues. Also, they are tubeless, once you have used a ust rime you sill NEVER go back. for most of the time I was running the Specalized 2bliss tires.
  10. Family owned, started 25yrs ago!! Awesome. I think they have single handled done so much for the industry!

  15. I still support CRC, I think the locals must catch a wake up. Both my hobby's (cycling and RC heli's/planes) revolve around buying 95% of goods on line. for RC its hobbyking.com and for cycling its CRC.
  16. very nice rideing
  17. thanks for all the advice, I will inform my buddy.
  18. Hi all I have a friend, who rides a hard tail. He dose the occasional race, but also rides his his VERY hard, hitting some jumps and huge drop offs (free ride style) He had a Tora fork (the model without the air) which he has subsequently broken. Can anyone recommend him a fork (new/second hand) that is relatively cheap, but strong enough to take the kind of abuse that he dishes out?
  19. I think i might experiment with an old chain.
  20. That's exactly my point the packing grease works well as a lube. Now to try replicate that method.
  21. I would LOVE to find what new chains are dipped into. It seems (IMHO) to be the best lube.
  22. not sure? Would it become any worse than the original lube, or an aftermarket lube?
  23. Hi All. I don't want to start another "my lube is better than your lube debate" but would it be possible to melt grease then dunk your chain in the melted grease to lube your chain. In theory all the thin grease should get into all the rollers. Once dry, wipe off excess and ride? I would imagine new chains are lubed in a similar method. Has anyone ever tried this method?
