  3. Hi Have the opportunity to purchase a set of Shimano XT Wheels. (I think 09) the ones with the red spoke nipples. Can any one tell me what these wheels are like, and are the gonna be much lighter than my Mavic 819 with Dt Swiss Hubs? I weigh 82kg, and ride pretty hard.
  4. Not sure about price, but I have the standard Anthem X1 wheels, DT Swiss hubs, and 819 rims, they are bomb proof (although not very light)
  5. I am sure they are great bikes, but I would never buy one as I just don't like the look of them!!

  14. lol, it was a real life discussion, not an online one..
  15. no, I actually do not want to open a rival site, I was just having a discussion with my wife about how websites generate income.
  16. Dont be such a toss3r!, it could be owned by a bike shop, or community based! I feel it was a valid question, if you have nothing objective to say, then shut your pie hole!!!
  17. Anyone know how that work exactly?
  18. Hi Guys I was just wondering, how does this site generate an income? And, is the hub privately owned. Dont worry, I am not trying to start a mtb website.

  22. Maybe I should email FOX, just as a bit of a FYI kind of thing. What is your opinion on the Enduro fork seals?
  23. PS, try relax a little more there lefty, I understand your point, but just chill out.
  24. HI Guys Thanks for all the good advice. Just for the record, I am very particular about my bike. Bike gets clean and serviced regularly. I never HP clean the bike and only use slow running water. Most times after a ride I wipe down stanchions, and also occasionally stand bike up-side down (lube seals) Also occasionally put some fork oil on the stanchions and pump the fork up and down. (not sure if this dose anything, but makes me feel like I am doing something) The problem here is that I didn't realize the kind of mileage that I have already done, hence the fork not getting service soon enough. So this is my fault, and not the fault of the manufacturer. However, I do believe that FOX should make more of a point in telling people how NB it is to service there products. So form now on, every 100hrs (+/- every 1500k's) I will service my fork.
