    Cricket......

Sure, but Kaepernick is a vegan, so can we rely on anything he does?
  2. Black dustbin bag with holes cut out for head and arms? Cheap, xxxxxxl sizes and helps with the weight loss. (you may think I'm joking, but I know an ex-pro who used to wear exactly this at the start of the season when doing spinning indoors to speed up weight loss)
  3. Multi national? I likewise have anecdotal references, but I have Soudal adhesives and other products in my garage right now. I buy Jumbo products at a speciality store or online, several south african flooring companies will use Quickstep floors if you ask them to do the floors in your house, Segafredo is ubiquitous in the fancy pants cyclist meets coffee world, isn't it? Along the highway by the airport there's a bathroom accessories warehouse, and along with billboards for Tivoli, there's a Hansgrohe one. I my experience, the world is a hang of a lot smaller than you seem to think.
  4. Yes and no. I hacked a 3x chainset into a 1x, and then hacked the FD into a very neat chain guide.
  5. I forgot about those. My dad has that bike. It's very nice.
  6. Convinced. Pfffttt. It's like the new fangled one on the Trek Supercaliber. Sexy as all ****.
  7. Yeah, for me it would be a toss up between the Spark and the Top Fuel. I just like the clean look of the Spark's rear shock, and my alltime favorite road bike is my Foil, so I'm prejudiced towards Scott...
  8. Ooh. Fancy. We usually sit on the pavement in front of the Dog Box Liquor Store in Bredell.

    947 Ride Joburg

I think physically I'm good, judging by last week's efforts with Pritzen, but I don't think my head is in the game after no racing for all these months.

Yeah, I dodged a bullet by riding for charity. Have fun...
  11. One disadvantage of mechanical disc brakes is the weight. (It is heavy) The brake performance of mechanical disc brake is – it requires more force and also it is less efficient. And if it's traditional cable discs, it will be single piston, which results in uneven pad wear, and it slightly bends the rotor with each use, so setting them up is a nightmare.
  12. Don't buy a road bike with cable disk brakes.
  13. So, on another forum, there is a new thread about that taxi that dragged that cyclist for 100's of meters in Sandton recently. To give you an indication of the average motorists thoughts, here is a post from what you can assume is a rational, middle class motorist: We as cyclists are, pardon the expression, ****** as long as motorists can justify literally killing us. The same person clarified their attitude with: and It's completely shocking that motorists we have to share the road with can be this callous.
  14. Whats worse, is Matt didn't have the worst hairstyle in that interview. What was up with minki's hair?
  15. Er, nope. Pinion box FTW https://en.nicolai-bicycles.com/bike/ion-g16-gpi/
  16. How badly do you fall to toast a cassette?
  17. And you can apply it to the chain straight from the bottle...
  18. Wot on earth is "sheeving"? I mean I'd love to help the OP, but none of my bikes are sheeved. Ah, wait, Googly knows all. OP needs jockey wheels I think? Or some 26er rims? Rim break version?
