  1. I use the E51 with external Nokia Bluetooth GPS device. Sportstracker is the application I use the most on the phone. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I agree that it would have been nice to have the build in GPS - less "messy". But note the advantage that on the external option the GPS use it own battery. (But the Bluetooth communication probably increase phone power consumption again...) Also I might be corrected but for example on the N95 the phone must be kept slide open to use the GPS. During last year's LeEtape I were able to record a track of 12:15 (yes I missed the cut-off ) The E51's battery only just made it, but the Nokia Bluetooth device was going strong. I also lost my external Nokia device, and re-ordered one via eBay from China. Unbelievably the quality is not the same and the communication crash often.
  2. Well done ML! he is drying it first with the lights

  6. No pics - the digital decided to get "purple blurry" disease... hehe - Langebaan was so nice, our "day trip" end up in a B&B and a rainy ride back Sunday morning. One of those weekends that just make you feel good to be alive...
  7. Nice pics. What a perfect training route/place. The missus and myself visited the park ourself on Saturday with the motorised two wheel vehicle and that Seeview? lookout point on the granite mountain is from out of this world.
  8. This bring a smile to my face - also missed the screws a while back and was ready to use the grinder - then spot them last minute
  9. ie Mavic and BMC brands is a good match and should be mentioned together?
  10. Ronelle, brilliant pics
  11. I assume the "it" is the Orbea Nellie?
  12. ah' date=' Is that the feeling i have looking down.. Lovely, not even pricy, but oh so priceless I did yes. My thinking process was something in the line of "could not be that bad when they do wheels in the TdF", but not for the last year+ straatvark2008-09-10 05:15:19
  13. Ditto on the missus's American Classics. What a frustration and waste of money - new spokes to do a slight true. Had a good conversation with myself the evening... Must admit, they did stay true for long period though
  14. Correct, right thing to do etc etc. Also will all respect to GO 2.0, but he is not my role model for every action in life. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> But then again if you need insurance on every "cheap" packet as well, why don?t stuff postal services and use insurance companies for postal deliveries? I'm not too much peeved about the monetary wealth that is lost. I will go and buy the tool myself today. But the nostalgic memory every time using the tool for the next 20 years is now about a crap SAPO, not about the actual events leading up to the tool end up in my toolbox. It was a small gift.

    SAPO

Anyone that can know how to get a list of SAPO employees? If it can be filtered to who had direct access to my (somewhat raided) parcel it would be a bonus. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I'm in a mood to crush some genitals... (References to mafia contacs would also be accepted) Cycling related? - Yes, fellow hubber (unexpected) send me a new arrival for my bicycle toolbox out of appreciation for something. (The SAPO bugger left the tool packaging for me so that I know on what I'm ripped off)
  16. Also keep spare tube in the office.
  17. No, very "crude" gries-nipple. Must say, I like the idea...
  18. Did someone actually do this before? "if you can't be bothered to go through the fuss of removal and servicing, drilling a small hole into the pedal and injecting grease periodically is a perfectly acceptable alternative. Secure the pedal safely in a vice (using soft jaws if you have some) and mark the spot to be drilled with a sharp punch. Use a 2.5 or 3mm drill bit to carefully put a small hole in the end of the axle, through the cap. Clear away all metal shavings carefully before reattachment" http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/workshop-servicing-pedals-and-cleats-18073 straatvark2008-08-20 05:43:58
  19. This morning nearly got run over by a car - made a stupid, stupid mistake on a road I used hundreds of time before and know the risk and what to do. Funny how your brain stops working in the last 2 km's when you attempt your first commute of season in an unfit state. Interesting: "Many cells in the body can function for a short time using anaerobic metabolism, or metabolism without oxygen. Alas, the brain and heart, while skilled at many things, are notoriously poor anaerobic performers." http://www.avweb.com/news/aeromed/181937-1.html And: The verbal memory scores in the running group decreased following the VO2max test; in particular, immediate recall memory and delayed recall memory were significantly worse after the test compared to the controls; A prolonged memory effect was also shown to occur as it took three days for the running group to fully recover their baseline scores; No significant differences between the runners and controls were found for visual memory, motor processing speed and reaction times. http://www.pponline.co.uk/encyc/does-exercise-affect-brain-function-35945 straatvark2008-08-13 13:15:57
