  3. Thanks for the heads up Patches.
  4. Patches where to for the TLD MOTO's...? saw some on bidorbuy that i've not gotten a reply from the seller for over a month now..
  5. So is it just me or did patches just take me for a ride..... Salvation ARMY... What the..
  6. Yep, thats me... Cant say i ride as well as my bike does... Revolution has this shorts in my size for R1400,
  7. okay i mustve been wrong about the stretch panel at the rear, the one i tried on at Revolution cycles looked something like this http://www.surfdome.com/dakine_shorts_-_dakine_syncline_shorts_-_blue-125145 sorry i couldnt upload the images here, struggled to save them.
  8. i've been searching for Fox DEMO kit... anyone? or ONE INDUSTRIES GHAMMA?
  9. You might come right with the attack Q4 shorts at the fox store in Canal walk, i myself was actually looking for the attack Ultra shorts... the store only has the Attack Q4 shorts in orange and green at the moment. I Dont think they will be getting much stock though. Has something to do with retail stores like Edgars and Woolworths etc setting new limits for minimum order quantities, which the LBS cannot do. send me a mail and i'll send you a a list of what the FOX store can get you from their head office.
  10. Hey Martin, What do you make of the Dakine syncline(your latter) is it worth the R1400, i tried a pair on and noticed the liner is not removable. Also it does not have the rear yoke. Are they still worth it?
  11. Nice...!! get All mountain - gravity orientated clothing...
  12. I cannot really remember the entire route, i do have memories of certain things. That rocky bit on SS1 i could have pushed much harder, i was expecting a BIG drop or feature at the end of the rocky bit but that didnt happen. I liked the open ground at the end of the jump line on SS2, something new and really Nice! Then just the way the trails was thoughtout, i think its really well designed. It did have a bit of everything. I struggled with trying to clip back into my XC pedals a lot, and drivetrain during the ride. but yeah, nothing some trail pedals and a type 2 cannot fix i suppose.
  13. erhhmm well i didn't finish top 10 because the climb finished me completely otherwise i would've made podium ( ) HaHa!!! Naah it was okay, hairy riding it blind though. i think i finished mid table, so yeah im no superstar yet ...but i think the course was great and well thought out, the pedally bits had me, and that fast as hec 4x4 jeep track section through me completely off guard. Slipping, sliding going buc wild all at High Speed!! well my High speed atleast... How'd you do Myles?
  14. Now THAT.... was a lot of fun but the climbs was so.....
  15. I hope that's the case, but if so, then surely Schwalbe should know about it. And inform the customer when inquires are made. Which in my case... Nothing of this was mentioned. It looks like a huge patch, which peels off..
  16. I have seen that and I am fully aware of how you are feeling, the same thing has happened to my tyre. Brand new tyre. Nobby Nic Snakeskin, Evo, pacestar compund, TLR. I do not know what to tell you hey. Mine has only been getting worse. Its like I am waiting for something to blow or pop or show its face. I've been in contact with the online shop from which I bought my tyre. They also reported that they do not know what's the cause/issue/ or what lies in the the tyres future. I can only say that the guys I bought from dod make contact with who I can only assume to be Schwalbe who said they do not know what's up and it never happened before. Communication and finding a way forward to this matter has been a very slow process, but it does feel like I am getting somewhere... Slowly. I do have a bit of dissapointment in the product I bought, as tyres don't come cheap and this is definately not what I expected when forking out cash. I know the tyre is ridable, but for how long.. That's my concern. My advice is for you to take it up with the guys you bought it from, they will send you and themselves on a run around mission and it will take some time. I did feel like doing a name and shame, but then opt'd to give the shop a chance to clear their name and hopefully help me out or something. I wish you all the best hey..
  17. something like that... (and overnight Pro MTBer skills)
  18. possibly make a video.... and share...
  19. Hey Dave, def. Will give you a shout. But please don't shout at me when i ask if u can ride at 7am till say 10am-ish, give or take... Keeps me out of the dogbox because I am able to spend the rest of the day with wife and kids.
  20. Hence, Im not forcing or trying to be thick.. just saying Capediver you confirmed my concern... but ya, exercise caution when tokai is busy and when approaching "high accident risk zones" until further notice. Atleast i know hubbers will be doing this...
  21. I was there at 6h30 AM, and i got opposing traffic while descending.. Bt ya, good to see so many people getting involved in the sport.
  22. Hope thats not me.... i ride with headphones, but nothing plays... its actually only if i get a phone call then i don have to take my phone outv my backpack.
  23. I hear you 100%, i do the same when ascending, not everyone does though.... Thats my concern. I probably slowed down to like 5 km/hr, and yet the ascending rider tries to force past the descending rider.... Just thought i'd share since the work Bennet has done enables a lot more flow and speed to be carried through the section... Imagine if the entire trail gets soop'd up like the entry already has.
