Why would you pump to 7 bar?

Since I moved to 25 C I am also riding 5 to 6 bar and weigh 100 kg so pressure is not the issue anymore so why change to a heavier setup? Puncture issues, well I have about 0.3 punctures per 1000 km so that is not really an issue either. Price on the other hand.... I ride on 300 Zar tires that I replace every 1 to 1,5 years and tubes at less and 50 Zar which I patch if need be. Not the lightest setup but defiantly lighter than 300g

I missed this so please confirm. You are saying that by having dopers you have a bigger pool of sponsors, how do you pull this together? Sponsors get involved in sports because the sport aligns with the brand or pitch. From there they look at who puts in the best marketing proposal. But I am open to convincing otherwise.

I don't get your point. There are so many "hotspots" to be covered and so few staff. Just be alert and you will be fine. Same goes for car robberies and hijackings. I have had to guns put in my face at traffic lights this year and had another few incidents. Most of then, nay, all of then were a result om me not being vigalent. So it is what it is.

Yes but some other youngster may be using these events to build credibility to get sponsors and possibly go pro in a year or two and maybe even just get to go to Europe to test himself properly. That one position that is stolen by a doper or rider under sanction means a lot to him and eventually the sport as a whole. Just think if something like this demoralized Alan Hatherly in his younger years.... He may never have gotten to where is is now, carrying our hopes and dreams on his shoulders. #justthinkofthebigpicture

Dude everyone knew what was going on and that loopholes were being used to evade detection. Dopers dope and they know how to work the system. When they get bust Omerta applies, even the the guys bust for doping and distribution and silence. So the scourge continues. KE might be a wonderful guy and got his life together........ BUT the message needs to be firm and consistent.

This can happen to anyone, and then you get caught, and then you get your life together, and then, and then. You go and get pissed, and then you crash your car, no one injured, but you get bust and you get a fine or your licence is suspended. Then you cannot drive your car. If you do, you go to jail. You can use insulation tape to tape bottle cages to the down tube as you wish. If it is good enough for one of the winners it is good enough for you and is cheap as chips. Also easier to access than on the back of your pack.

So for less than half the price who cares. Regarding guarantees, do you really need one with the hoops you have to jump through anyway. At that price it does not matter
