  4. And on Summit road, in that deep shade and soft grass on the right.
  5. Best o' Luck mate. Enjoy!
  6. its the "B" in Berocca - excess vit B getting excreted.
  7. Had a big pedal strike with entry level egg beaters and broke the cap off. Not cool but, having said that, all the new Crank bros stuff is user serviceable so it would not be an issue nowdays.
  8. 2 words for you - evi and dence
  9. otherwise how you gonna hold onto your bars? Big up, take a spade!
  10. dub dub dub dot brighter-lights doesn't tell us where to get em!
  11. The bold is the bomb, that's why I have a curve battery spare - just upgraded to the Bold. Runs both endomondo and sportypal really well. Sportypal is, in my opinion, the better software. You can do the track on sportypal and upload it at home with the wireless connection. saves on data upload. Try check this out. Dunno if it will work but.... My link Run your mouse over the profile pic at the bottom. Also vert accurate GPS data
  12. You can download endomondo from their website: dub dub dub dot endomondo.com. once the app is running, you can select live tracking. I have no idea about data charges (perhaps speak to your SP) You might also need a battery or three for the ride. (if it's a curve I can lend you one)
  13. If any of you have blackberrys and use endomondo, we can track you guys live off the website!
  14. Heard about it from a mate. Apparently a lot of bikers were affected! This cradle thing is getting out of hand
  15. Hey, I don't see it as out of control - merely trying to improve my skill set. The powerclimb in question has soft soft sand on the way up and on the ONE occasion I managed to get up it without riding into the tree on the right, Mr weight weenie on his carbon steed belts down the same piece of soft stuff, with no or little steering from the wrong direction. Wish I had cracked his beloved piece of glorified coal. I am sorry if I hurt him a bit!
  16. Thanx Ian. please clarify though. I often see pedestrians walking through the reserve. Not your standard twitcher type, more like your unemployed gardener type (I hope that that is PC ) I understand that there are people that live on the farm and that they have domestics etc. How do the security guys differentiate. It would be a good start to identify and limit casual access. I also accept that this is not up to NFRUG but by now NF mamagement or even management should be concerned!
  17. isn't there some bos bef*ked ex recce out there that wants to go ride there on a weekend afternoon, complete with glock and spade? I'll sponsor his entrance fee!
  18. Yip, Andy, you are right and I apologise! that was a reference to the red robot post of a few days ago.
  19. However, however, put me (100 k's +)and my fairly solid piece of GF 29er on one of those small powerclimbs on the single track near the river, and get a smallish person on a carbon full susser coming the wrong way down that piece of track and I am going to hurt them. True story. The one ways are good and right and marked. If you can't abide by the rules then stay the F away! There is even one group that F*** MOVE the signs to suit the direction that their holiness' desire! Sh!t, that is like moving a robot cos you're a roadie and you don't feel like stopping.
  20. After my crank and my BB parted company in the Knysna race a while back, my BB clicks and generally sounds really sick sometimes. I am considering one of three replacement chainsets and would appreciate some helpful comment. 1) FSA V-Drive Chainset MegaExo 2010 2) Truvativ Stylo Team 2009 3) Shimano LX Chainset T661 but with the 26.36.48 rings Which and why?
  21. Big up Ian Hoy, keep on reacting quickly and positively!
  22. Ride there every weekend! No problems, lotsa new singletrack, roving security. Go Go Go
