  4. If you could afford to buy a Thule bike rack in the first instance you wouldn't be complaining about R160

  11. This site was very useful http://thebestespressomachines.org/The Delonghi EC155 http://thebestespres...spresso-machineThis would be a good choice for a home machine. It's relatively fast has different chambers for frothing and pumping the coffee so you could make multiple cups without having to decompress.
  12. The fr derailer should be clamp mount, direct mount is the one that is bolted to the frame. Check to see if your cable works from the top or the bottom. rear derailer is standard although 11 sp has a new type of derailer but if you buy the groupset complete then it wil accommodate the chainrings, chain ect... Standard crank length is 175 and you probably have a GXP BB which is the BB that has the frame cups with threads. You could change it to a pressfit BB which is a lot lighter, you will just have to get the cups removed and replaced with the pressfit cups. They should be epoxied in if it's a carbon frame. If you go for 10sp then a 10 sp chain is what you're looking for shimano do 26/38 std crank chainring you also get 28/40 or 30/42 cassettes you can choose from are 11/32, 11/34 or 11/36 check what you currently have and if you require more gears while doing steep climbs then go for the bigger cassette i.e. 11-36 wheels depends on your axle if it's a through axle or skewer. If it's a skewer then the hub would have to accommodate the skewer and 10 or 11sp hub. If you're buying new then you would ask for the desired requirement.
  13. If I understand Sheldon Brown's gain ratio which is in Miles per hour I've converted the below into km/h What cassette gears do you have? 11/36? If you have 13/29 I would understand how you would run out... the difference is 38.4km/h(13/29) as apposed to 45.44km/h(11/36) using the 38 chainring at 100RPM! You would probably spin out at 110/120RMP which is 56km/h using a 38 tooth chainring 11/36 cassette at 120RPM..Sheldon doesn't have a 27.5" wheel but if I do the above calculation with a 27" wheel it equates to roughly 1km/h slower than a 29" wheel...
  14. Shimano is releasing GPS computers next year for R1000 I'm waiting to see what their range is like...

  20. Where did you hear about the jaw side effect? That sounds like a load of BS... The meadia spreads all these vicous rumours about performancing enhancing drugs to detour people from taking them. If you look at the common gym rat they take the stuff regardless because it makes a difference and the side effects are not what you guys are making it seem
  21. According to this wheel test my Shimano Wh-R550 wheels are aerodynamically amoung the best shallow rim wheels that you can get so i would be wasting money upgrading to anything other than a deep wheel. Which then opens up the debate of those wheels being hevier so what are the advantages? Now I'm even more confused
  22. The Mavic SL 1485 grams for R8k The Campagnola Zonda 1555 grams for R5k Zipp 404 are 1685 grams and are way more expensive and I've heard are not very strong Shimano Dura Ace CL Clincher 24 7900 1386 grams for R6k sounds like a great deal Could not find any Ritchey wheels on chain reaction Fulcrum racing 3 1555 grams for R5k seems very similar to the campags LOL Easton EA90 1545 grams R6100k Zipp 303 1171grams for R14200 light wheels but very pricy out of budget
