I was wondering about that now, how does one fix the inner tube if there is a thorn that goes through the outer tyre and inner tube, thats exactly the same as running tubes, kind of sounds like gong backwards from the standard tubeless.

I couldnt handle it any longer. 11 days ago was my last ride, due to work travels and rain when I returned. The only time I wont commute is when its raining when I wake up, dont care if it rains when I need to go home. This morning it wasnt raining but its defos going to rain later Fun times

I commute by mtb off road. I stay off road to avoid cars, (pedestrians are more understanding). I stop at all the stop streets or when crossing over the streets, and theres lots of streets to cross so i stop a lot. Theres lots of uphill (both ways) and the downhills are filled with stops, there is only one downhill that is long and am able to get to speeds of 50km/h, and that is at the beginning of my morning commute to work. Route distance varies between 16km(straight) to 28km(longer route with some nice single track). Average speed varies between 14km/h to 18km/h, all depends how I feel, how much I have slept, etc. I remember someone once said, "a commute is not a training ride"

Best saddle that I have owned was somthing that came off my schwinn mesa sport, complete bike was like 3000. Very cheap saddle, but worked like a charm. Lasted forever, sadly i had worn it out so it had to go.

Yo man, thats hectic, glad you are ok and that they only took phone. Just to add, magalies freeway is not a safe road to ride. There's lots of areas where someone can come out of bushes then disappear back. It's known for hijacking including large groups of riders, and them picking out the bicycles they want. So my advice for anyone else using this road, please avoid it at all costs. rather take the N4.

This is not needed, you just need the cassette tool. Which is maybe under r100. like so: then just use a normal spanner that will fit it.
