Just out of interest, do they ever verify the details we put when claiming for points? I am sure I have missed a few seconds when entering my time... the worst is when I added an extra hour .

Sounds good. It would be sneaky of them to provide points for almost all races and not have them all in their 'list'. I haven't done any race that was not in their list of outdoor events. I must say, the person who updates it is quite clued up.

Great race, but some guys just can't bunch ride. I had a nasty fall, with about 50/45km to go, because of that and thanks to Marshall James for great help. The guy was awesome and very helpful. Was dizzy for a couple of minutes, and James kept looking out for me and giving advice. Much appreciated, marshalls. All of you, esp James. Ended up finishing the race and I'm pretty much pleased with my results.

Sadly I am one of those. This would have been my first one Tonner, damn! I'm still beating myself up for missing the race, but at least I think I had a valid reason... I was studying the night before, for today's exam, and overslept. Woke up and ended up leaving my place at 06h50. Got to Stellenbosch at 07h30. Quickly got ready and damn, everyone has started already. I stupidly asked if the timing mat is still there, and it was already removed... The worst part is that the missus came to support me... :'( Only option I had, come back home... study hard as if I am there, wake up early today to get to that exam room on time... and kill it!!!

Make sure that the GPS signal strength is strong and green before you start your ride.

This is gonna be one of the hot threads. I think OP should just be crowned with the title already. I like my phone; all it shows me is names. No post counts (without an o), no titles and no disciplines (whatever that is). I just see names and avatars. And I like it that way.

And it's a mistake he wont make again. But the other riders will want to crack him. He will have a hard time, but they will soon realise that they missed out today, coz he won't let them easily.
