  1. We can just do the 39 km route backwards? Unless there's sections to avoid?
  2. O so I saw the routes... This might actually work? How about you ride whatever distance race you want, then everyone who doesn't have a lift arranged to get back can from a nice group to ride the short route home? Anyone up for it?
  3. How about you ride back? I wouldn't mind getting a Hubber group together... May be nice? Or am I being ridiculous? Can't see 69kms as too rough...
  4. Oh please note that I'm not saying Scott, giant or silverback are lower end brands, simply that they're not priced like the bianchis and pinas, etc...
  5. Yeah, I would go with one of the lower end bikes as the general consensus is that us plebs don't notice the difference, except in out pockets! Loads of fans of bikes like silverback, and Scott and giant have some very good bikes in your price range. Also look at Chinese carbon. The thread on here has more than enough to support the decision, and you could get a sweet frame and build it up with very good components for a lot less.. I also think that riding with really good accessories like a decent helmet and gloves, etc, make a massive difference to the experience. Set aside some money for decent stuff and definitely GET A PROPER BIKE FIT AT CYCLEFIT. so worth the small money and makes the biggest difference to me... Good luck! I'm jealous of your dilemma, in all honesty!
  6. Don't stress about it now.. As long as you're not a spammer its ok... But seriously. Are you involved with Pacific and/or BRL in any way?
  7. Well if it's an honest mistake, sorry Bro! But are you affiliated with Pacific health / BRL sports?
  8. Sure dude.. Whatever you say...

  10. Have you noticed that it's been posted about three times already? All by a different person? All with exactly the same text and highlighting? Yeah. Spam.
  11. Looks like more spam... Just better disguised... Please admin?
  12. I must say, as much as I love a sprint finish, there's nothing quite like a brilliant mountain course to see attack after attack... Pure cycling... Can't wait!
  13. Then you go for a bike fit and they tell you everything is wrong and you need to delve even deeper into the credit card... So much fun!
  14. Great minds... Haha
  15. Just remember that with a second hand bike, set aside some cash to get the right size stems, new grip tape on the bars, may need your fit bars too (correct width). They may seem like nonessentials but these few items will make or break whether you're comfortable! Just my 2c
  16. So with Le Tour done and dusted, and us all being thrilled by Froome and his amazing win, it's time we get over the sadness that pervades our lives and look forward to the Vuelta! With a couple of TDF riders declaring themselves out of this one, who is your bet on?
  17. Guys! Stop or you'll go blind! Oh and the pain will go away
  18. I saw it was only a 69km road race anyway... Sounds like a fun ride for sure... Think the mtbers may be more interested...
  19. Saw some posters around the cradle yesterday that the date is the 3rd of August? Cyclelab.com doesn't have any info? Anyone know what's up? Thanks! Joss
  20. All works. I have 67 stis with 66 group set
  21. But sky have had bad days! They've been taken apart a few times now... But for the most part they've had a clear strategy. Chris has shown he's a great climber and great time trialist. But not as good a sprinter. So they've cycled to the strengths... That's how you win.
  22. So maybe he's having a good race and the team is supporting well. You doubt your wife every time she's home late? Cause that's the same amount of trust you're giving. Poor guy does well and you doubt his ability. Innocent until proven guilty.

  24. I love how the start of this thread, everyone is Chris' biggest fan and wishes him well on the tour. Now it's turned into a "he's doing well. Must be doping." Personally you guys lack some character. Support him if you like him, don't if you don't. But don't be so immature as to blame a well ridden and well calculated tour on drugs. Yes, we get the fact that Lance broke all your hearts. But it's time to get back on he horse and back out there. Gees like it I've seen teenagers have break ups better than you guys and Lance. Anyway... Good luck Froome! The performances have been incredible and I've loved every minute! Keep opening the gap and showing what you can do!
  25. I only drank two shots officer... The knife was only in his chest for 4 seconds! I only raped her for a few minutes... Sound reasonably allowable? No. Don't be stupid.
