I have had 4 chainsuck events in half an hour in Grabouw last weekend. Me very unimpressed and my new carbon frame bearing the nicks... Pity you not in the Cape, else you could have used my wife's bike for a weekend or so. Going to a LBS and sitting on the bike and taking a ride through the parking lot is great, but nothing beats feeling it in action. Then afterwards chatting about how this one felt compared to that one etc. Had to go through 4 dual frames for my wife before she decided to rather go back to horse endurance riding! I share your concern and pain

Odd questions, but 1. Do you still use Stan's (by choice) if you have a tubeless rim? 2. If you do get a flat / sidewall tear, how do you fix it without a compressor / foot pump, even if you have a boot?

1,2,3 and X... 1,2,3 - Only difference is components The X is 2009 model and is a newly redesigned frame - different geometry, more travel etc The X reminds me a lot of my Trance 1 though, Anthem X has 4" travel, Trance has 4.2" and the Trance X has 5" So the X is more geared toward trails.Wernervdmerwe2009-07-14 10:15:00

Ok, what are the average times you guys do Oak Valley in? Ie will then go do Oak Valley coming Sat to check our time, and then we can check base?

They can get quite busy, and can you imagine if you are talking to a salesperson and he says he has to go to call someone back and can't speak to you anymore?! I have a new Revelation fork on my bike and was testing the fork by going forward slightly and pulling the front brake. With a loud pop, the left seal on top (where you add positive pressure) dislodged itself and was almost halfway up the stanchion when I looked down. I pushed it back down and tried best I could to clip it underneath the rim of the lower. Should I be concerned, or is this part of a new fork?

I am thinking of upgrading my crank in a couple of months, but I am not sure as to which one will make the better choice. I heard that the Deus blades lasts a lot longer and are cheaper to replace - but could not substantiate that.
