Welcome. Pretty difficult finding a loose fixing bolt. I have used fixing nuts from old broken RD's. Getting the correct length is critical.

Agreed. According to Bianchi Girl, Bianchi made hundreds of thousands of frames which they called different names depending into which market they were sold. Some of the frames needed serial numbers stamped depending upon the market (for example the USA). I have seen some frames with the model decal on the top tube.

Certainly has value for the collector! Yes, Colnago had various accessories for sale over the years from shoes, clothing, sunnies, watches, etc. Some of these items are now very collectable. What size is the helmet?

Now, if only they would bring out an option for a horizontal top tube instead of the sloping tube!

Haven't posted pics for awhile so here are some bikes I recently rebuilt/built. Masi Prestige - Dec 1978 mixed SR/GS groupset with 3ttt Competitione bar & stem De Rosa Super Prestige early/mid 1970's with SR groupset F Moser AX Leader Oria kk tubing (slight crimped main tubes) with Chorus V10

Very nice, looks to be in perfect condition. Lovely wrap around seat stay and nice lugs. Fork crown too. Don't hesitate, step through or mixte bikes don't command high prices in SA but are very collectable in Europe. Motobecane is a sought after frame manufacturer. Only issue would be trying to get the crank off the BB if it is French. No LBS's in Johannesburg carry French threaded crank pullers!!!

The frame doesn't look like a respray! The frame is manufactured with Columbus Airplane alu same as the Dream/Lux Dream but down tube bi-conic shared with larger BB diameter. Top tube similar to master hence called the MIX.

That is nice. The angle of the pic makes the bars look so big. Love the deep bend!

In defence of @BAZA, once you have sold something and the item is exchanged for cash it is no longer yours. The new owner is able to do what he or she likes, including selling the item for a profit.

Deliberately went for black cork tape as I am planning on using the bike a lot. Sunday's ride went very well except my cleats were a bit off centre. Newly built wheels and imported Rally tubbies on NOS GP4's were super (pun intended).

87/88 Super, rebuilt with some special parts, many NOS - SR, 50th anniversary, SL, 30th anniversary Colnago panto, Cinelli and Rolls.
