Has anyone walked or ridden the hiking trail from below the mast to Silvermine? How ridable is it? It just seems such a waste of altitude to slog all the way up there and boringly ride down on the tar again...
It is one of the greatest arts of cycling. Dont try this yourself if without knowing what you letting yourself in for. Its actually bloody difficult and few people can do it correctly/properly...
