  7. Saw the CRC price... rather support local: CWC R2700, but local supplier only getting TS2.2 in couple of weeks time.

  10. One man's XC is another's DH or AM or whatever... its a very personal thing. In my mind, its only purely defined in racing. Out riding with mates... its all semantics. Just go out and ride, push the limits and ride...
  11. hope not!
  12. Sam keeps to himself and comes over as arrogant. Never attends parties etc. Aaron seems to be different to that. Well liked, humble and obviously bloody good... completely different to Sam.
  13. The seals you see are just dust seals and keep the oil in and dust out. Often, leaking grey-black oil (grinding paste consistency) is a symptom of another more serious problem. The actual wear takes place at the bushing deep inside between the lower and stanction. The wear creates the grey-black oil which leaks out. So simply putting new seals on does not always solve the problem. Enduro seals seem great because they keep the oil/paste inside because they fit tighter than specified seals around the stanctions. It comes at a price though. The tighter fit may cause the anodizing to wear out prematurely at the seal and the additional friction may hamper the fork's performance - esp small bump compliance...
  14. talking about juniors... south african, tiaan odendaal, 16byears old, is taking part as well. he placed about 70th overall in PMB. lets see how he fares in the big game at a course away from home... Greg 1st this weekend and in World Champs!
  15. Lynskey.... This is how they make them
  16. My word! That is a whole lot of metalwork for a single pivot bike! Floating BB, but still single pivot...
  17. Greg got his mojo back and won on a wet and muddy course! Go Greg! But Aaron did enough to win the overall title with one race to go... Here's for the World Championship!
  18. Hey TNT For someone who clearly does not believe in any form of God whatsoever, you certainly spend a lot of time trying to justify/convince people of your decision/choice...
  19. I dont particularly like shimano, but their skewers are the best. I had problems with my chris king hubs - the preload to the bearings was always working its way loose. Replaced the skewers with shimano and whola!
  20. Highly recommend a through-axle (either 20 or 15mm) Then, short stem (+/- 70mm) and wide bars...
  21. grips are like saddles... your personal choice I love my lizard skin chargers (non lock-on)
