  1. Sorry... Had the op after number 2... best thing ever! Good luck, it will get better, I promise! PS: do the Argus, even if you do not do a single ride between now and then!
  2. Awesome area and awesome trails... well worth a visit. All the trails are connected and signposted - you can make the ride as long or as short as you like.
  3. A Tallboy! But you need to show us a pic... I'll show you mine if you show me yours!
  4. My 2 boys often go to the pumptrack in Cascades for a bit of riding with their mates. Allows mommies to catch up on some chinwag as well. Today was a bit different though... definitely no riding, but lots of fun. The monkeys got washed in the nearby river before being carted back home.
  5. In short: YES! Only congested in races, hardly see anyone else out on trails on regular weekend rides...
  6. I have both... They have very similar philosophies on wheelbuilding. Musson just a lot easier to follow. Also: if you print out the digital copy, you can write in it and make notes as you go along.
  7. I am 1.88 and ride a XL... very comfortably. SC sizing is smallish. I suggest you get on one and see for yourself.

  9. Bliksem! Miskien is dit nie vir die Amarok nie... maar dit is sterk genoeg vir n Amarok... of Hilux of Ranger...
  10. Different mtb vid... I like it!
  11. I would have to turn around and walk away... lest I do something very wrong!
  12. You might try opening the bleeding nipple a bit to push out a bit of oil with the brake lever. Do not release the lever before closing the bleeding nipple otherwise it will suck in air. Has worked for me when new pads were too tight on rotor...
  13. I would remove the one bolt and size it up. Then insert a longer, same size (M6 probably) bolt into the bar. This way you can knock it out without damaging the bolt which you are going to ultimately use again...
  14. Awesome... Love the wheels as they are - esp the hubs! Keep it simple, no need to try make it stand out. It will do that as is!
  15. Nice pics and good to see... Thanks
  16. Oooh... the wonder of a beautiful woman!

  18. Yes, I know... its a beaut and obviously performs decently as well. I am however (too) brand loyal...
  19. Personally I am a SC guy... but this is not far off!

  22. You can also do plenty maintenance without the CK hub tools... just download the manual and get busy with a couple of allen keys and CK ringdrive grease...
  23. Bronson XTR brakes
  24. One of my old DVD's shows 18 year old Stevie being shuttled up the hill by his mum and racing her down. He talks about winning the WC in that clip, many years ago... I like the boy! He has the skill and the right attitude...
