  1. He just sat in the road sunning himself. Did not bother to fly at all
  2. Kruger last weekend
  3. Well done Chris and co. You have now caused me a problem, my 6yr old who loves all the parts of the spruit, jumps and burms included now wants to know how to do it like in the video!
  4. A friend of mine was in New York and found me a lense. Look at the price in the bottom left corner
  5. Riding spruit with the kids was eventfull. Little dude went through the tunnel under the roads near emmerentia and miss judged the red exit ramp at the end. Went left off the ramp and proceeded to face plant and mud angel. As I got the tears were pouring. Thinking damage to body was the cause, jump down to retrieve kid from the mud. Only tobe told that he was crying because his new shirt was now dirty
  6. Bimbos 24hr with crinkle cut hot chips in Randburg was brilliant

  12. Trying to ride with my kid is more like it! she managed a 3rd in class on the GCC XCO on Saturday at Monument.
  13. I have been riding with a Super for 5 months now. Comfortable BUT venting not the best. Find it is a bit to warm on some days. Been looking at the Etto http://www.sportsworld.co.za/category.php?id_category=210
  14. I am T2. Been taking glucophage for 2 years. If I eat before I ride and drink plenty water, I only need the odd enerjelly during a race. Carry an apple as it is low GI but has enough sugar to help
  15. Hungry Kruger Croc
  16. I never broke a spoke in the accident. Rim bent. Rock dislodged as I went over it and rolled the front away. Weight went down on the wheel through the bars.
  17. I have managed to fall and buckle the original Alex rim on my Silverback. I can purchase 2 different wheels sets to replace both wheels 1. MT55 shimano 2. Mavic Crossride Both are similar in price. I can not find the weight rating of either. Which is the better buy for a 100kg plus rider? General gauteng trails, no mad jumps or dropoffs.

  19. Be carefull when they pass not to slide off, the amount of oil leaking could cause a slick big enough to equal the exxon valdes!
  20. I stuck to 25 and glad I did! The down hill then 180 deg turn followed by uphill nearly finished me a few times. As for the second new bridge that looked great until you went over to discover a steep loose downhill with zero braking and lots of sliding! the floating bridge at least kept my family amused for a while. big up to "captain America who went for a swim in his suit and still rode a lot of the 25km route soaking wet.
  21. Only the 2 groups in 30km were joined together and started at 9am. Race was good with juice water and goo at the water points. My first Walkerville and really good. Will be back next year.
  22. Going up hilbrow tower and carlton centre to the coffee shops. Hilbrow ice rink, hyde park hotel, blairgowrie high school
  23. Really nice riding area. No permits required and nothing too dangerous. Large baboon troop the most tricky to get past.
  24. Entered for the 30! First time on the cold one.
